Do you know where the DW's that currently still on the 307 be going once it fully converts to ES's. I'd imagine there's no concrete plan seeing the conversion is probably months away if the issue is UKPN related

Lots of Ts becoming spare over the next few months I imagine the manual blinded buses (59/10/60 reg) from the 250/64/417/157 will be withdrawn but wonder if the W3/279 buses may see a bit longer. Although the pending results for 66/103/370 & 194 electrics will spell the end for the the 59 reg DWs leaving only the 60/10 reg DWs for the 60 amongst the 60 reg refurb floats. So both the oldest Ts and DWs will be around the same age so I guess will depend on what arrive want to prioritise getting rid of. Not forgetting there are still plenty of hybrids coming available from the BN (50, 333, 133) + 243, 242

When should 466 be up tender? The 466 is in tranche 930 in the tendering programme, with its contract expiring on 29th August 2025. I suspect however it may get a 2 year extension which would take it up to August 2027 so watch this space.

That involves ordering new smart blinds when the new buses are going to have LED blinds. The 289 could be double decked early using the Ts from the 64. As for the 279 & W3 Ts probably withdrawn… or if the firm want to get rid of DWs then DT is the perfect home for those Ts.

I was going to suggest the Ts go over to DX to help retain the 150 and 175, but after consulting with LVF I realise the buses are about 12 years old! Hopefully they'll act as a refurb float, it would be a shame to retire those workhorse Ts before their time.

I think it’s going to be the DWs being withdrawn ahead of the Ts and transferred over to provinces. The DWs are good performers, so will probably go to places like Tunbridge Wells, Milton Keynes and High Wycombe where there still might be older buses in service.
