once the 307 convert full electronliner, what garage will DW506, DW508-DW514 be allocated in? There is lots of speculation involving 242/243 HVs and some routes up for Tender with GY, DX and DT, it would make sense if they used those DWs on the 41 or 123 and took 8 HVs to bid with considering all of the old fleet that needs replacing soon

So long as Wood Green don't pinch 'em DW503/5/7 were briefly at AR this summer before ending up on the 144. The DWs at Tottenham range from DW335/6 to mostly 4 series DWs, with 4 of the 5 series ones that never moved to the 158 (DW536/7/8/9). DW's from the 307 could move some HVs to EC for the SuperLoop. Also if no SLS's head north, then some ENNs as ENR Refurb Floats and to shift the last of the Darts (EN13/18/20/21)

Some of the ENRs on the 318 are already looking worse for wear I hope they get a refurb soon, or even if 9 of the SLS's redundant from the 450 could turn a wheel and come to replace them, plus any Dart hangers-on Some of the SLS’s are a bit scruffy as well. 19 was a pretty bad state when I saw it just before the 450 was lost.

So I returned back to work, still absolutely no news on type training for the ES, no one knows what is happening, I don't think they have even wired up the chargers yet. I can see it getting to the new year and still no type training

But the question needs to be asked, why when there is problems with iBus, they can not failover to BODs data to provide some kind of information to the public. Is looking and being told no buses are due acceptable in this day and age? The info is out there, it is supplied to BODS, why do TfL prevent this data being made publicly available? iBus cock-ups happen too often. Sometimes the entire system can go down and no buses are trackable as we all know… As stated above there are no 196 schedules on iBus at the moment nothing will show up until it is uploaded end of discussion. I believe the system you are on about tracks the GPS probably on a different system. People will still wait for the service it is still running like when there was no tracking information whatsoever… What is done is done now and will be fixed in due course… overall no point getting worked up over it and loosing sleep because no one cares the problem is probably already being addressed. 196 still not showing on iBus ... Not good enough in this day and age. Could you imagine a supermarket saying we have issues with ordering fruit and veg on line, we will have it fixed in a fortnight, in the meantime you can go to the shop to buy your fruit and veg like you did 10-15 years ago? How would that be looked at? Why should it be acceptable for customer service in the public transport to be so pee poor in comparison. Customers should expect a half decent level of customer service whatever the industry. I worked in IT for years. If we screwed up on a public facing system, even for a couple of hours, there was hell to pay. You had to fix it, even if it meant rolling back a change, which was a massive matter. Seemingly in TfL they don't give a toss. There needs to be a change management process for iBus screw ups like this, so non scheduled updates can be made. If operators fault, they pay a fine to cover the cost. TfLs fault, they absorb the cost. Into the second week, 'is probably already being addressed' does not cut it! It seems that many of those that work in the industry think it is acceptable to offer a substandard service, the public should accept a substandard service, which just sums up all that is bad in the public transport industry in the UK. Why should we accept crap?

Armchair talk as usual if it bothers you that much complain to TFL and explain you worked in IT and they will not bother responding… Likelihood It will be working on Friday or Saturday as the 363 changes operator. Find something better to do nobody actually cares on here might sound harsh but your comments will not change a thing… It’s been reported a few times
