Realistically, if Arriva do get SL5, it’ll probably be forced to get ENXs. Not sure if they’d allow ENLs on it Yes i expect the SL5 would have been specified for minimum 10.8m SDs. I can't see it getting new electrics for only a short term contract, particularly as they probably wouldn't be in service in time to introduce the route in early 2024. I don't think Abellio or Stagecoach would be able to find enough existing SDs at 10.8m, so Arriva or Go Ahead would seem more likely. Abellio ex R70 ?

However I think most, if not all of the E7 buses are going to the U7, and I think the R70’s buses are 10.5m

DW418 has more suspension problems than Spurs' squad very crashy over bumps on the 123 this evening, and more left leaning than Jeremy Corbyn I hope some 5 series DWs from the 307 transfer over soon

This incidentally reminds me of 1990. Routes 50, 60, 250, 264 & 312 were all tendered together and all allocated to TH, together with then new route 412, with other routes such as route 109 moving out.

Only 5 of the 21 destined for TH has entered service, I don’t think any more can enter service has BN don’t really have that much space to be introducing new buses when no other vehicle has left BN. That being said I wonder what the issue at TH is and the reason why they can’t start service on the 64

This can take months and you just have to wait in their queue.

Currently trundling through Botany Bay on an LT on the 313.
Don’t think I’ve ever been on a bus that suits a route less than this. Trundling through the glorious countryside on a bus that is designed for central London, it feels so out of place out here. It almost feels like James May is driving it when he took the LT out in the countryside 😂😂
A lovely route ruined by god awful buses

Trundling through the glorious countryside on a route that is designed for central London, it feels so out of place out here. It almost feels like James May is driving it when he took the LT out in the countryside 😂😂 A lovely route ruined by god awful buses Luckily for the 313, it does get diesel strays so those definitely would sound better than the LTs

At least it wasn’t an 61 reg TEH or an limping Enviro 200. 😂
