What are the two new routes starting in August 2024? Won't be the 76 and SL2 as these start earlier. 663 and SL2

So it does makes it look like TH will be all electric and that the 50 Will move in there as it mentions 35 electric buses at the tram shed which is the 319 and 417. Also looks like the 243 will convert next summer. Hmm I read the wording differently. When I see ‘Early next year, Thornton Heath will be fully electrified’ I read that the depot itself will be fully electrified, ready for electric vehicles. Not that it will be using a fully electric fleet. In which case I read it as that the 198 will be keeping its allocation and will probably stay at TH. I just can’t see the 194 moving there, it’s much better positioned at TC. Your probably right. A bit like how RATP kept saying S was going to be all electric but in reality it was most economical to operate the 148 from there and therefore it remained there.

In fact dead runs to and from Lower Sydenham would be a bit shorter from TH.

If it were I’d have expected the copy to mention that specifically. The only issue with that, is that it mentions work taking place at TH, E & AR. Nothing about TC. Could 194 be the new 612. If anything its probably easy for driver changeovers if it went to TH as from the stand to the garage its pretty easy to take the 60/64/109/198/289 as opposed to travelling back through Croydon and down to South Croydon.

Very strange, I saw ES50 on 133, showing N137 on the back. I thought that was a Norwood route

Don't worry, it will be mandatory on all cars sold after July 24. Who expects new car sales to take a dive, meaning older more polluting cars stay on the road longer? People would just modify them or get software de-restrictions. If people have crack so many ECU' to gain top speed limits above a manufacture restricted 155mph what makes you think something as simple as ISA would not be modified. Just as much as fake plates, DPF delete, mileage correction and other non legal things done. Yep, there will be codes to "jailbreak" your car as if it were an iPhone, as easily as finding Photoshop serial numbers the problem with these intelligent systems is that they often get things wrong. I have SLI (Speed Limit Indicator)in my car, but there's no restrictions. Sometimes a road worker leaves out temporary speed restriction signs on the motorway that should have been collected in after works finish. If my car restricted me to 50 when everyone else around me is at 70, it's very dangerous. I can imagine the stress of a bus driver who may be running late but cannot go a little faster due to an ISA system that may have read the roads wrong...

A lot are coming with software mods to be virtually undetectable. They are 3 steps behind. ISA keeps records on your driving, which will no doubt be used against you by police and insurance companies. Your car will grass you up even if you have it turned off. It is NOT turning it off, but software that would GIVE false results. Just reminds me of the attitude of Titanic and unsinkable. Or years ago how secure online bank accounts etc were. All these anti-virus firms etc. We also had keyless cars and a few other things that were cat 1+ in early 2000's that are now gone in 60 seconds due to software hack from companies abroad. Difficult for the genuine owners to get keys etc. The underworld would get these cars in less than 60 seconds.

On an Electroliner on the 417. Not quite sure about the pale wood floor as it already looks filthy but again like the more traditional seating layout downstairs.
As much as I like the DWs and Ts (and HVs to a degree aswell) if new buses have to come to the 50/194/250 etc im glad its these and that they weren't won by Go Ahead with City's
