Yes it was, but as I previously mentioned the SL1 would be HV's unless other plans has changed. It is far easier now to send the HA's from the 78 which finish on Friday night to be done than other existing buses HV's where there would not be enough, even with the 34 pvr reduction without a reshuffle from other garages. A lot of the W3 drivers are now already type trained on HV's, virtually none bar any ex [AE] drivers at [WN] would be trained on them which there is less than double figures. The same goes for [AD] where route learning of the short section to North Finchley for some was being conducted last week. It shouldn't be too difficult to fully allocate HVs to the SL1. The 34's cut releases 4x HVs, and AD already have a few spare HVs. The rest could perhaps come from the 158? A few DWs recently transferred to EC, so if about 4 more can be send there, this could release all of the 158's HVs to AD to complete the SL1. Maybe 1 more spare HV from another garage too as the Superloop routes tend to have more spares allocated. While the 78's HAs will become available soon, it probably won't allow enough time for type training to take place, so would make more sense to send them off for refurbishment and type train drivers for the W3 or wherever they may end up. With respect you are looking on from the outside where as capitalomnibus works for Arriva so best to take what he has written as what is happening.
A week should be enough to get most buses wrapped and if not then some can start off in plain red like the SL 10 has done. Type training should be fairly easy once they have a spare HA.

Hey hey. Easy there 😎. I made a comment based on my own experience where I've been on a LT before and it was somewhat slow on a fast road and it was very sluggish moving off at times and no I have not driven those buses before because I'm not a bus driver. I'd assume you've probably driven one before and you may have had a good one. I have driven a few LT's, I find them to be good buses, really cannot understand the hate for them. If it is in limp mode like what happens to many euro5 or euro6 engined buses then obviously it would be sluggish. The only hate for them I'm aware of is on forums like this.

Is the W3 and SL1 both getting HVs? As you say AD & WN are both not type trained on HAs? Oh boy, I have opened a can of worms now ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) If HA's were to go to any of these garages, drivers would be type trained on them. Tell that to Omid Scobie and his wretched books ![B-|](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/notamused.png) ![](https://i.ibb.co/mh6c5FX/shockwaves.jpg) ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

Do the new blinds for the SL1 say Walthamstow, St James Street or Walthamstow, South Grove as the 275/212 ibus is now Walthamstow, South Grove and if I'm not mistaken that's where the 34 is being extended to?

Regardless of how much a route is lengthened whether it’s 2 minutes or 30 would still be an extension. To my knowledge between WC & WSJS there is 1 stop Selbourne Walk which It’d serve hence my comment about being extended as it passed Walthamstow Central to terminate at a terminus further down.

once the 133/333 passes, is best the HVs go to tottenham garage I was thinking it’s best they go to South Croydon to replace the older DWs on the 60 I was thinking its best they go to [LV]

If it were an extension, there would have been a consultation like the 233 in Harrow. Therefore unlikely to serve the 3 stops between SJS/South Grove and WC. I am concerned about the 34 getting stuck in unnecessary traffic on Selborne Road due to the bus lane being reduced because of the hidious unaffordable attrocity of a housing development they are building. Have completely missed the 212/275 ibus change. Why? Bonkers. Suspect it was a council request.

Just noticed while passing by, EMN 1 in the forecourt of Enfield garage. Hopefully type testing begins soon so the rest of the 16 plate MMCs migrate to the 318 so the 377 gets its electrics

Forgot how much I like Arriva’s T’s.
I think it’s their interior as well as the seats I prefer to Go Aheads E’s for example.
Had a lovely trip on T213 across Ally Pally this afternoon. The W3 is a great route which I hadn’t travelled on for ages.

The Go Ahead interior is very robust and does hold up well. The 147 E400s looked worn out externally but inside was pretty decent considering the hard life they had.

It would NOT be picking up passengers.
