Maybe the phrase ‘Mind The Gap’ doesn’t translate terribly well into the London bus world 🤣 Life can be the Pits but seriously that's such a dangerous thing to happen. Hopefully it can be checked over and be back on the road soon. I have noticed, on a separate issue, the HVs at Tottenham seem to have acceleration issues, with long pauses between each gear, but the bus does eventually get up to speed...Is it tired batteries 🔋

I also hope these EMNs aren’t at unreliable as the ones at Abellio on the 322 😂. It wouldn’t half surprise me if the three MMCs currently allocated to 404 somehow find their way back to QB. The ones with Abellio aren’t unreliable though - it was established that issues with the chargers rather than the buses was the initial issue. It seems the issue with the Optares is now the range, SLN has 3 MetroCitys from the W5 at LI for the 339, TUK has 4/5 MetroCitys (in active service) from the E5 at QB for the 322 and GAL has diesels and hybrids out on the 200 during the night.

The 377 is not such a long route, so should make it around the block a few times before the batteries die

Nobody should have been under the bus whilst it was being moved but clearly some questions are going to have to be asked about how this happened.

The vehicle could have slipped while on the pit because it was not positioned correctly. It that was driven in like that the entire front end offside would have fallen into the pit.

A shame this photo ended up on every social media platform last night. It first appeared on Fastybook I believe. This could have actually been fatal if anyone was working underneath that. Whoever took that photo is probably getting the sack. Well no one should be underneath any bus when driving or removing from the pits. I have driven buses on and off the pits, I cannot understand what on earth the said person was doing for this to happen. The worst I recall was one engineer forgot to remove the lift stands from under a HV and drove off which it grounded and got beached. We then had to back it up. Go underneath to swivel it and use a hammer to cox it out. Luckily it was minimal damage underneath

I'm also baffled as to how the bus has ended up nearly on its side, especially when there was no lifting equipment on that pit.

HA20 refurbished. I know the recent stagecoach refurbishments been bad, but this is horrible. The colour clash is horrendous. I feared how they might look. The most horrendous refurb I've experienced so far is the RATP VHR on (then) route X140.

ENS28 has a sign on the front saying "Unfit, do not take any parts". Not quite sure what that means exactly.
Also, T299 has seemed to have disappeared, it may be on the pits but I couldn't see it.

One of our drivers who has transferred temporarily is at Brixton, so did a cheeky blind change on ES38. I think it looks amazing. (Not my photo)
