Route 254 is scheduled to move into [SF] on 24 February 2024, from this date [AE] would no longer be used. The 76 would be transferred to start at [SF] when won on 23 March 2024 thats interesting. I guess the reason why, 254 will be operated from Stamford Hill (SF) is because, as they might not be enough space at Clapton, (CT).I don't know.I thought that when 242 passes to Stagecoach, the 254 will be transferable to that garage. Now on to the 76 case, are routemasters from GAL will transfer to the route when it passes to Arriva London. Tottenham AR for route 76 would have made sense as, for dead running back to the garage from Tottenham Bus Station is a very short drive back. It might be to balance work, while the 242 leaves CT it will not be leaving CT short changed with other major routes still there. While it would make sense to give SF more routes than just the 76 to balance garage overhead costs.

Come to think of it has the 76 operated from SF before? I was sure the 76 had a stint at SF in the past, but just looked it up, and it turns out it has never worked from SF. I was probably thinking of the 67 which has a long history at SF.
Barring its two recent spells at NP (and SW) the 76 has been an AR route since at least 1934, albeit with assistance from other garages at some points in its history

Could be for the W3 contract? It looks like all 158s HVs are being repainted at least and W3 looks likely. Which means we could get some T on the 158 in return unless diesels come from somewhere else. Probably some of the DWs from the 307 will move there. DW501-DW503 are already on the 158.

While the 158 doesn't contractually require HVs - if the W3 is getting them I'm surprised there aren't enough already from the 34 and 242?

The W3 was originally going to get the 78's HAs, but that plan changed when Arriva won the SL1.

The W3 was originally going to get the 78's HAs, but that plan changed when Arriva won the SL1. Arriva didn't win the SL1, it was a spin off from the 34 contract like the SL10 was from the 183. Interestingly the SL1s tender result is due any day and it will be getting electrics, so those HAs regardless of a retention or loss will be made free from the route.

Are there not spare hybrids from the 133, 242 and 333? The SL2 allocation is not confirmed but though there still might be some left over? We will see but it is weird that the HVs are getting painted at this stage so might be moving. I would not mind seeing a T on the 158 but more likely it will get DWs from 144 if I took a guess to make sure EC did only have LTs/DW. It may all be nothing too.

Late HV conversion for the 144 using LJ11 and LJ62 HVs from the 133/333 lol👀

The 76 would be transferred to start at [SF] when won on 23 March 2024 If you can answer it obviously, but will Arriva still hold on to their half of AE, or will the whole garage be handed over to Stagecoach? They would no longer use [AE] not sure if Stagecoach would use the full garage, but assume they would.

DX Gar will be seeing HA buses start to move over from BN to DX from this weekend coming due to the lose of the 133/333, the HAs will be for the SL2 and no doubt also run the 175/150 as most garages, odd workings do happen.

Those vehicles I doubt will be used on the 150 & 175 until staff are type trained on them as the Union will be against it. I expect over the next few weeks engineers will be getting used to them as well as branding put on and the vehicles, plus used to for Route learning the SL2. HAs have not strayed at AD pretty much because of the Route branding.
