Why doesn't the N137 use LTs? The LTs do not have N137 on the blinds. Oh. Would've thought it was something like a tight turn or something

Not sure if you've misinterpreted my comment, but all 4 ESs that are tracking on the 137 right now(not ES29 and ES31 as they are currently being charged in the tramshed), have been through the process I've mentioned. I doubt they were subbed but most definitely finishing buses… the vehicles cannot be fully charged in such a short space of time. They were all subbed at BN with other ESs coming on doing the last few trips 5 hours is enough for a top up

Surely something more efficient could've been planned before BN took over the operation of the N137

The blinds in the LTs are BN sets containing two routes 59 & 137 and have been the same blinds for 7 years with some containing St Bartholomew's Hospital inserts for the 59… Why is this now becoming a problem. I did explain this in another post… In addition BN has never operated the N137 since it transferred to Arriva in 2004, N has been its only garage and was crosslinked to the 417.

That's a very good shout, actually. If 3 T's become spare anywhere they could move to TH for the 289 which will then release ENX6-8 to TC to replace what's left of ENL101-110. The ENX's are far better buses for the 166 IMO I did get my ride a couple of weeks back, had ENL106 which actually did pretty decently up the hills, was expecting it to be a pile of trash So 18 months on after I last rode this bus, my original prediction has now come true, ENL106 is a pile of trash. It struggled not just with the few steep hills that are on the route but literally any incline no matter how tiny the inclination was - it was turned at South Croydon, Bus Garage which I'm wondering if the driver simply had enough of it.

Thanks for confirming this, in addition when all the HV blinds were changed in 2018 when the 468 started and the 67 plates in 2020 when the 202 started. 137 was not on the blinds, only the recent sets with the 432 have 137 on the blinds, pretty much because it uses LTs in addition the allocated LTs to N were never there every night, neither was the buses allocated to BN any LT would end up at any garage, I’ve driven many BN coded LTs and driven them back to N.

T108 parked at the front of TH, showing 289. However when scrolling through the blinds, has 176. I think the blinds haven't been done, instead 289 has been stuck over 157
