Any ideas why the 319s EAs were pushed back by about a year? more likely was because of them being awarded with electric buses. this would take ages for arriva to get the buses delivered during this time and it was one of the first bus routes to be getting it. the garage had to get new charging ports, buses etc for the route to be running. this would take ages because this was a new thing arriva has done. as of now, routes getting electrics won’t take as long as the 319s unless if there’s issues with charging etc. At the time it was agreed that the start date would be delayed by a year in order rightly as you said to get the infrastructure works booked in and carried out.

I wonder if the ex-BN HAs and HVs(133 & 333) may appear on the TR1 Why are they more likely to appear on that route rather than any other rail replacement service Arriva will be/have been operating? TR1 is operating over a 13 day period and not just the weekends. RRP usually take buses from any garage as there's a lower PVR during Saturday and Sunday but in this case they won't have many spare buses during the week.

The original slide used both T1 and TL1, and you are using TR1

The original slide used both T1 and TL1, and you are using TR1 Trams have always been conflicting, iBus and signposts use T1-5, TfL use TR1-5 in contracts, although I'm not sure where TL came from as that's the first time I've seen that.

There is nothing in the contract that they cannot be used. The problem is the blinds, I believe only 3 of the mk1 HV's at [AD] have 34 on them. There is NO restrictions on hybrids. In the early days there was one or two T bus odd workings with the yellow blinds of the early ones. The trouble was a sizeable chunk of the 34 drivers were not type trained and it meant being subbed. This also happened a few times on the 102 with the SW's until they ended up having to type train all drivers on the SW And even the 102 is meant to be allocated with Gemini 3s. Look how many Gemini 2s appear on the route. Arriva are not breaking any rules. My incentive to ride route 141 was for an ex-Stagecoach Gemini. After 3 frogfaces an ex-Stagecoach did turn up. Of all the 141s I saw, these were mainly frogfaces plus a few ex-Stagecoach but no indigenous Mark 2s.

What are the plans for the SW's? Arriva will buy Stockwell from GA so that the SWs can go to SW, and for good measure share the same shed as route 44 Streetdecks

They're having problems with power draw. Hence the amount of roadworks around the garage whilst UK power network figures out a solution I’m not surprised they’re having issues with the power draw. Ponders End garage is in such a built up area, next to an enormous Tesco, high street and a huge amount of residential homes. I can easily envisage UX having the same issues when the power is connected there There's also a Morrison almost next door to Ponders End garage. I even went inside last Easter Monday

It only operated at HT in the later pre-privatisation days as part of a joint allocation with AR and WN. When it was with London Surburban Buses, it operated out of ED (Edmonton). The 41 was only under MTL for a couple of months before it was lost to Leaside/Arriva this time round Metroline going nap 41. The 31 and 90 30 up for tender this year Metroline could bid existing hybrids Yes, route 41 is a good route to have a snooze on
