Just got on DW243 and we’ve reached Dovers Corner and driver is waiting for an engineer as the bus has an engine cooing fault. It’s all happening on the 103 today Ona separate note, these buses seem to be becoming more and more unreliable. Less being spent and a few fitters on holiday and one left. More agency would be covering again

Looking the the blind change on DW502, when the hybrids eventually arrive on route 175 & 370 their blind destinations will match their ibis:
175 Hillrise Estate > North Romford, HILLRISE ESTATE
370 Romford Market > Romford, Mercury Gardens
Also noted that Cranham has 2 displays as seen on the 59 reg DWs one being Cranham and the other being Cranham

It would look so cool if they did that.

It would look so cool if they did that. The current allocation is manual blinded and won’t be suitable for power blinded buses so I hope this does not happen not to mention DX & GY blinds are not exactly the best a lot of ripped examples, I’m looking forward to the hybrids coming to the routes hopefully will sort the issue we currently have of buses turning up all with all sorts of blinds, the 103 of is by far the worst offender for the blinds . In fact personal want here but I hope newer examples are moved from outer garages since so many Ts and DWs are becoming free to oust the 59 reg DWs as they are always going mechanical I love how nippy the 59 reg are by they are certainly experiencing much more mechanical issues recently and power blinded blinds should already be on order as the new contract will see power blinded buses so they can easily transfer these to the hybrids when they become free but I can’t see hybrids arriving until halfway through the Romford route contracts seeing how slow electric conversions are right now. I recon we are at least looking at late 2025 before hybrids cascade.

Will 279 get the vision zero Electroliners?

All of them should have the blinds. Dayglows and the modern blinds we have now.

Bumped into nearly all of the G2 HV batch for years at NF and never seen a bandit 221 Wrightbus Eclipse Gemini 2 Volvo B5LH? Unless an example had a malfunction with the blind and was stuck in 29? EDIT: Now I remember there was a post on Facebook suggesting this as well. HV108 was the one in question. However that one is blinded for 221 and infact a video of that was taken quite recently, contradicting this blind issue.

Yeah that’s the one I saw as well HV108 with the 29 on its blind instead of 221.

There must be serious issues at E as the 307 still uses DWs daily.
I would guess that the 279 will not convert to ESs until next year. Happy to be corrected!

No issue but the electrics are parked at the side of the garage and charged for next day. Easier to take a DW out in the evening if fueled up and the buses may be free from other routes ie 121, 191. Less DWs are out during most of the daytime from what I've seen on LVF. Sometimes DWs are on the 313 and 279, buses intermix, so long as there's a service! Even TH have suffered delays with the 64's ES's, it can be external factors like electrical contractors, Wrightbus delivery delays etc. We'll see if the 243 and 341's BYD Integrals arrive on time

Looking on LVF, it’s been all ES for most of the day. The current 2 DWs on the 307 only both started service at 10pm. In recent days, it does seem like the DWs are only doing some of the evening duties

It would look so cool if they did that. They would be useless as fitting standard tyvec blinds to powerblind units would do nothing as no coding and too thick. You can however fit powerblind blindsets to standard blindboxes.
