Euro VI buses and coaches are permitted in the Congestion Charge Zone. However any bus working a TfL-contracted bus service must be hybrid, or zero-emission, this is a specific requirement. Use of a Euro VI diesel on a TfL service inside the Congestion Charge Zone may be subject to a penalty*. * but only if the operator gets found out I wonder if the CC ANPR is trained with that information (or if info is then fed on from that)? Presumably not?

The variety of buses, along with the speed of the route is great! Nearly every Arriva bus type has been on it, perhaps it will be EA's, ES's and HT's sooner or later I guess with a shorter, slower dead run, the DWs won't be punished as much, then something different like electrics will take over next year. It will be good to see DW201 near her native Wood Green I never even realise it started at [WN]. Would always remember it being on the 38's Pretty sure DW201 started out at CT for the 38. WN were quite late to the DB300 party. I think their first batch would have been for the 29 when that converted back from artics in late 2011.
