DW225, DW540 & T206 all involved in a collison inside Edmonton Garage. All VOR 3 buses!!! Crazy one to hear. Led to believe the driver of DW225 caused it by ramming into DW540. Would be pluasible since it was at the back and the EC drivers probably arent used to faster 200 series DWs and at best are only used to these limp Ts and moddest 158 DWs

DW225, DW540 & T206 all involved in a collison inside Edmonton Garage. All VOR I had to re-read that post at least 3 times in disbelief. A collision inside a bus garage throwing 3 buses at once of the road. I also assume with a 5-10MPH speed limit?😮

That had an engine problem. Had a minor rebuild, barely lasted a few days, before it seized up and failed to start and could not even be turned over manually. For which VOR bus? As there is 2 mentioned! HV95

Known for it to happen with multiple vehicles especially parked tight in the morning run out. I remember one driver some years ago had a bus that did not build up pressure yet. The driver had the handbrake off and pressed the broms brake initially. He did clear the halt brake via the gas pedal, came out the front door checking the rest of the bus and then when pressure built up, the bus then moved off on its own with the driver realising what he had done and chased after the bus but was too late and the bus took out a load of buses in the garage. Luckily no one was injured. The driver was sacked! The 200 series may be quicker, but there is no way you would be able to gain that much of an advantage driving around in [EC] over a 500 series.

This is now common place. When electric buses came out delivery timescale was a lot longer than hybrid or standard diesel. Now there is a lot of investment it is a lot quicker and now many cases the buses are being delivered and no charging equipment being installed. Many garages are now being used to store a lot of new electric buses that now cannot be pressed into service so would be gathering dust.
