I still haven’t ruled out the 338 suggestion between Wood Green-Stratford but I have made some adjustments. Route 243 rerouted between Wood Green and Stamford Hill via St Ann’s (existing route 67) retaining the link between St Ann’s and Stoke Newington. It would also reduce the period the 149 and 243 parallel with each other. New route 338 would replace the 243 between Wood Green and Stamford Hill via Tottenham giving good connections between Tottenham, Clapton and Homerton. PVR changed to 18 instead of 16 running every 10 mins. Thoughts?
Edit: I've checked what the duration would be if it were rerouted and it would still be the same so I wouldn't change the PVR.

What I can see if reductions are made in the corridor between Stamford Hill and Dalston can potentially involve the 67 axed with the 329 likely to partily replace it for the St Anns link. Direct Clapton to Tottenham links are locally desirable, the 476 can easily divert to Clapton with no additional costs from the reallocation of Central/Inner London reductions.

I checked on Wikiroutes and I figured in my head that the Tottenham routing would be longer with the whole route being roughly 70 or so minutes.

The 243 runs every six minutes in peak hours of which it needs to on the northern section, you are dropping the service by 4 buses per hour. That is a reduction of 40% on one of the busiest routes in London whilst increasing the lower used St Ann's section by 66% of which I don't think it needs.
Your 338 suggestion would work better if diverted via St Ann's which a 10 minute frequency would be more suited to however that breaks links from the A10 & Stoke Newington to St Ann's.

That's what I wanted in the first place but people were telling me that the St Ann's to Stoke Newington link is very well used. Plus the 243 could get a PVR reduction anyway along with many routes TFL potentially choose.

VMH2537s idea I think is the most ideal one, either the 349 or 476 diverted to Hackney Central (the 349 would be the better option because the 476 would need a replacement between Stoke Newington & Angel, that can be a busy feeder corridor) and leave the 243 as is and perhaps look at a semi-67/329 merger whereby the 329 extends to S Newington & perhaps leave the Dalston stand open for something like a 263 or D6 extension.

199: Extended from Bellingham to Bromley North via 320. 320: Withdrawn between Bromley North and Bellingham. 335: Rerouted from Blackheath Royal Standard via Charlton Road, Charlton Church Lane and 486 LOR to North Greenwich. This links Kidbrooke and the Royal Standard to the retail parks in Charlton. Extended from Kidbrooke to Grove Park via Kidbrooke Park Road and 261 LOR to link Grove Park and Burnt Ash Hill to Kidbrooke, Blackheath and North Greenwich. Tudway Road loop withdrawn, with an increased 178 compensating this, 24 hour service introduced to provide Kidbrooke Village with a night bus. 422: Night service introduced. To provide East Wickham and some areas of Belvedere with a night service. 672: AM journeys introduced from Woolwich to Thamesmead. N53: Extended from Plumstead Station to Erith via 99 LOR. To provide a night service to West Heath and Upper Belvedere. Also extended from Whitehall to Oxford Circus. N75: New night route from Croydon Town Centre to Woolwich via 75 LOR to Lewisham, then 122 LOR to Woolwich Common and 161 LOR to Woolwich. Provides Selhurst, Norwood Junction, the area around Sydenham station, Perry Vale, Eltham Green, Well Hall, QE Hospital and Woolwich Common with a night service, and links Woolwich to Lewisham at night.

Provides Selhurst, Norwood Junction, the area around Sydenham station, Perry Vale, Eltham Green, Well Hall, QE Hospital and Woolwich Common with a night service, and links Woolwich to Lewisham at night. I’ve always thought the 199 should carry on to Bromley in place of the Bromley-Catford 320 section. Would be handy to have a Bromley to Greenwich, Deptford, Surrey Quays and Canada Water link.

Having lugged a lot of shopping back from the Charlton retail parks yesterday, I am all in favour of tweaking the 335. I suspect Charlton Church Lane would struggle to accommodate another service though: perhaps the 380 could run direct via Victoria Way. I'm not convinced a night 422 is needed or a service across Bostall Heath via the 99. The old N53 routeing might be a compromise.

199: Extended from Bellingham to Bromley North via 320. 320: Withdrawn between Bromley North and Bellingham Whilst it would be desirable for the 199 to provide the Catford to Bromley support to the 208 over the 320 there simply isn’t room at Bromley North to fit in the 199 and 320. Either some of the smaller routes move out or you make alternative arrangements for the 199 and 320. I would favour sending the 320 down to Plaistow Green and sending the 199 up to Bromley Common (Crown or Garage). Sending the 199 to Bromley Common has the additional advantage of maintaining a second link between Catford and Bromley College

Whilst is does run from the PD there is nowhere to turn it in Woolwich. Interesting that even the tender specs have the curtailment arrangement to stand on Monk Street which means passengers are dumped off on Grand Depot Road, must be quite confusing especially as the bus would show "Woolwich" implying it will go into the town centre. They would have set down outside Tescos in Woolwich New Road which is where the 161 sets down now. This is the same stop as the 178 showing Woolwich (this stops once more in Thomas Street). The Monk Street stand is full now and an overspill stand is sometimes used in Thomas Street. It was used for a meal relief bus last year.

In favour of the 335 idea, I live just off Eltham Road and would give Lee a direct link to NG which is warranted, Tudway loop won't go its a main part of the route given the regeneration there.

Why would passengers be dropped off on Grand Depot Road when there are numerous places to set down in the town centre already? The 178 comes from the same direction as the 122 and stands on Monk Street, last stop is Thomas Street, although most people alight at Woolwich Arsenal Station (Stop L).
