Once again, it is ill conceived and over-exaggerated with this Meridan Water nonsense, just like another poster keeps on going on about Beam Park. If the trains to Meridian Water hardly has much footfall, the buses going to Angel Road Superstores, aka Northumberland Park Tesco, aka Lea Valley Tesco, aka Edmonton Ikea, aka Tottenham Ikea, hardly has much footfall either. They are now even quieter since Ikea went. A bit busy when there is an event at Drumsheds, otherwise not much goes on there now. My suggestions weren't really about Meridian Water specifically, but generally to improve links across the Lea Valley. But even so, I think a lot more redevelopments are planned in the area? With the 34, Meridian Water would be a convenient place to terminate around that area, plus linking Meridian Water to North Middlesex Hospital. But also offering an overlap with the new Walthamstow-Enfield route for interchange. How is it going to improve links across Lea Valley when you are only taking the 34 of its own line of route to be dumped into Lea Valley Tesco just to be ONE stop off line of route? The fact the route is so close to there makes no sense whatsoever. This is what many people here just do not think of. In fact from the existing stop near Ikea that the 341 terminates it does not even take 3 minutes walk to get to the stop on the A406 that the 34/444 serves going towards Edmonton.

What is a pity is so many buses run dead to PB it must be annoying for people who want to travel there from Barnet to see empty buses all day out of service. Potters Bar seemed like a bit of a dead town when I was there recently. Students are catered for by private contracts. It has a decent train service. So I can see why bus patronage has dropped. Some of us remember when LT had sole use of PB garage. There were plenty of buses north of Barnet then. Many were effectively garage runs but were always "live". The 134 ran all day every day but sometimes offered several trips within minutes of each other. The 43 also ran garage trips out to PB in service well beyond its normal Friern Barnet terminus. Later on it was the 263 which ran the Barnet - PB section. The 84 at that time ran direct via St. Albans Road out to South Mimms not even serving Potters Bar but variously the 242, 298 or 299 came out to meet it at Blanche Lane and with a few trips extending one stop to Clare Hall Hospital. Even earlier than that this was the top end of the 29; Victoria - South Mimms by RT back in the day.

Love the fact that it runs alongside the W4 from Wood Green to the New River Sports Centre. It needs the support. Don't think Silver Street needs another service running down it; the current lot are sufficient especially since 3/4 go to Edmonton already

Seems good, a lot of it follows 153 could be a concern. But from White Hart Lane I would route it via the rest of White Hart Lane, Tottenham High Rd, Brantwood Rd, Leeside Road, Glover Drive, Argon Road, Harbet Rd to terminate at the roundabout.

It wouldn’t really follow the 153. It would have its own new bus stops on Liverpool Road as the 153 is routed differently.

Route 224 extended to Greenford oldfield lane
Firstly route amendments: 224 towards Greenford, From central middle sec hospital stop B
(L) unnamed road inside hospital(via 440 route) (L) central way (A) Cumberland Ave (R) rainsford road (L) abbey road back to line of route
224 towards st Raphael’s From abbey road (R) rainsford road (new contra flow bus lane to allow this turn) (L) Cumberland road (A) central way (R) unammed hospital road (Circum navigate) serve bus stop c at cmh (L) Acton lane back to line of route
Reason, I drive this route and the Asda bit is retarded
224 extension: 224 towards Greenford, From Alperton Sainsbury’s, (A) glacier way (L) athlon road (R) manor farm road (L) Bilton road (L) aintree road (A) Bideford ave (L) Perivale tescos (Circumnavigate) serve bus stop outside Tesco (L) bideford ave (R) teignmouth gardens (L) argyle road (R) Ruislip road east (R) Greenford road (A) Greenford road parts the a40 roundabout (R) green park way (Circumnavigate) serve bus stop ll (R) Greenford road (L) Berkeley ave (R) oldfield lane N (L) old field lane north Terminate at new stand on this road ( old 92 bus stop)
224 towards st Raphael’s From Oldfield lane north (R) greenford road (first stop stop R) (R) Horsenden lane (A) Oldfield lane N (L) Berkeley ave (R) Greenford road (L) Green park way (Circumnavigate) serve bus stop ll (L) Greenford road (R) rockware ave (L) Oldfield lane N (L) marlins gardens (A40 slip road) (R) Greenford road From here the route mirror the return journey back to Alperton
Reasoning for this extension, Creating new links between Alperton and Perivale teacos, connecting Greenford to Alperton and giving residents at Greenford a new connection into Park Royal.
I admit this will make the route considerably longer but it’s not been unheard of.

There are some pinch points in there. I believe Wightman Road was rejected as unsuitable for buses some time ago. Mayes Road isn't a good bet either. Both have narrow points and parking issues.
