That's *a lot* of spare hybrids within GAL available by next year. So expect to say goodbye to virtually all remaining WVLs and Es. Looks as though about 10 WHVs will stay at Sutton. Yeah i would expect most of the diesel Decker fleet in GAL to end up leaving... Would be alot of hybrid buses able to replace them especially the 14 and 74 buses if the cuts go ahead. That’s a pretty bold statement considering Go Ahead had 462 diesel deckers as at 31st March per TfL fleet audit. Even with the route cuts more like half of them rather than most will be going.

If the 51/104/147/304/486 etc. are still using diesels in a year they can be replaced by some hybrids too.

Go-Ahead Londons Bus Orders - 78 BYD Citys (10.9m) for Routes 80 (Part) 93, 151, 154 & 353 (69 to A & 9 to MB) 27 BYD E200MMCs (10.7m) for Routes 163 & 164 5 BYD E200MMCs (9.7m) for Route B13 Making a total of 110 new electrics for Go-Ahead London That's *a lot* of spare hybrids within GAL available by next year. I do wonder if some hybrids could then be returned off lease, transferred elsewhere within Go Ahead or in the case of what's already done with some older WHVs scrapped.

Ahh, that would explain why I was coming up with very few spares for the 80/93/151/154/163/164. Intrigued by the 10.7m single decks Could be standardisation tactics as they will be able to intermix with the 413 batch plus a possible future order for the 152 if that's retained.

Seems to be a new size, currently ADL website has 10.2m and 10.9m versions of E200EV with nothing in between. What I generally don’t like about these shortened versions is when they move seats close together and leave no leg room.

The remainder of the 57's E's should be the oldest casualties of any such move Yeah, I just pointed out E61 since it's the one of the oldest, if not the oldest DD in London (happy to be corrected here) and it's a miracle it still runs daily despite being so easily replaceable

Who funds the acquistion of new buses? Is it the operator or TFL?
Or even a combination of both if that's the case how are the vehicles able to be transferred to the provinical service once they have finished service in London?

The individual companies fund vehicles through contract payments from TfL. The operators own or lease the vehicles so are fully responsible for their disposal once they have finished TfL service.

It doesn't feel normal to see 4 entries in the Arriva section, even if two if them are little mini routes! You probably have to go back to 2017 until the last time this happened.
