Has this been confirmed? No expert on electric charging rigs, but thought I read that Optare only supported the Siemens charging system which is non-standard? Not official as of yet, but we're expecting the route to receive them as they are the only manufacturer to offer short single deck EV's currently. Any chance on deposed ENNs heading to the 318?

Interestingly this seems to be dual-door, unlike any other London SDs around 9m It may be a question of whether Yutong offer the E9 to TFL spec, I think other types have been ruled out in the past for this reason. Looks like Yutong is also planning a double deck, derived from those for Singapore, but with a seating capacity of 68 and total capacity of only 80 wouldn’t meet TfL spec. Presumably too heavy in 2 axle form www.route-one.net/news/yutong-battery-electric-double-decker-coming-in-2023/That bus at the front the headlight arrangement reminds me of the ugly Northern Counties bodywork from the early 1980's, which was H1-3 with London Transport and the buses later Capital Citybus.

That bus at the front the headlight arrangement reminds me of the ugly Northern Counties bodywork from the early 1980's, which was H1-3 with London Transport and the buses later Capital Citybus. Yes it rather does have that bit of a retro look. Would've preferred this look for the Me class on the 200 though (baring in mind i'm so used to them now).

londonbusroutes.net have confirmed Metroline have ordered new buses for the 384, however shouldn't expect to see service until (provisionally) October 2023, implying they've just been ordered. Did not specify type.

while HT have space for both the W3 and 279. Really? How come? Loss of the 24 and 91, various PVR cuts, plus the 4/168/271 if cuts go ahead. However I think the 279 would go to PB instead if won by Metroline. Could definitely see the W3 going to HT though, could use the ex-91 hybrids.

Btw this means that PV would have Wrightbodied hydrogens and electrics at the same garage which will be very interesting. I hope when they come the electrics can stray on the 7 to make it electric and hydrogen operational and vice versa for the 297.
