With the 270 starting new contract but missing some of its fleet, made me think how many other new buses are not yet here, due to bus factory closures
Abellio smart hybrids go upto 2052 (some are for 285 in June), but about 22 are outstanding Caetano electric only 11 of 34 used so far
Go Ahead Double deck electric, only about 16 of 50 in use (but some not needed until June) Single deck electric, couple not yet in service
RATP 12 new diesel 9m buses due June for K1
Stagecoach About 25 of the smart hybrids outstanding (most are for 425 in 5 weeks time) 5 single deck electric buses not yet used
Then is then quite a gap until late August before another operator change with new buses (although Tower Transit should be receiving new electric metrocities for July Contract renewal, although phased transition seems likely)

Last Saturday I did see 3-4 25s which were running around not polling.

With today's tender result being released, I have updated the list to include routes 184, 200 and 484 in the Go-Ahead London section and route 616 has been added to HCT Group section for upcoming new bus orders.

We shall see how delayed if at all the 28 E400Hs for Arriva, the 33 Metrodeckers for Tower Transit and the 47 BYDs for Stagecoach are. There are also the electric buses for route 358, plus top-ups for route 312, types as yet unclear.
The chances are that delivery schedules will be back on track for next year's tenders, most notably routes 20 (in place of 616), 184, 200 & 484.

Yes Arriva London hasn’t made orders for 312 due to the route being on consultation

I've heard the E200s for the K1 are arriving somewhere in August. The 285 E40Ds are already on LVF so might expect them in late July/ early August.

There are 3 Ee’s outstanding for NP although they may simply be waiting to enter service as one did the other day

I think the electrics from ADL have an added complication as I'm not sure how far BYD are with reopening their factories too, the Hybrids and Diesels from them should probably be easier to manage as they control the chassis plant as well as the body plants. Optare I'm not too sure how far they are with reopening now, but I imagine the C3 at least should hopefully have its buses by contract start.

Go-Ahead London and Abellio London sections have been updated today (07/07/2020) to reflect all the 49 Ees entering service at Go-Ahead and the P5's batch of Caetano E.City Golds (1525-1534) entering service at Abellio. As a result, these have been removed from the new bus orders list.

Looking at the list it seems now we've reached a point where the majority of buses that are on order for London are Zero Emission, surely shows where the future is really quickly heading.

I definitely think the era of ordering new hybrid double deckers is over. I have noticed since the start of 2020 in all the tender results this year if the vehicle element indicates that new double deck buses will be ordered, there are now only new zero emission double deck buses being ordered. I wouldn't be surprised if the 28 Arriva London HTs are the last new hybrid double decks ordered by a London operator.
