Interesting that no order was confirmed for the 101 or 473. I wonder if there may be an issue with 10.9m buses on both routes. The turn on the 473 turning left out of the Woolwich Ferry can be quite tight and the 101 might run into a few issues in Wanstead. The 262 comparatively is a relatively straight route. I’m not too familiar with either routes or that part of East London in general so I’ll have to take your word on it.

I can’t see this at all, the 321 was announced way before these and pretty sure it’ll get Ees, an order must be placed already. As for the 473, I recon it’ll get Ees as well just either was a mistake in the LOTS message or something along those lines. Pretty sure as well there was message a while back saying the 321 is due Ees. I do find it funny that every time a route isn’t official announced everyone’s like OMG gal must be going for a new type!!! 😂😂

However the 473 saw 10.8m Scanias. I also wonder if the 101 may be put further back on the Ee conversions due to being a retain rather then an award.

(1-30 already at Cambridge) Disappointing to see the S2 is getting 9.7m SEes (should have 10.2m at the minimum), although it's good to see the 39 and 325 are getting 10.9m. Also its finally confirmed the 439 is getting 9.7m SEes after all of the speculation it needed something shorter. I wonder what the frequency increase on the 111 is about, could it relate to the 481 school journeys, or maybe even the new 618 (which could be crosslinked to the 111)?

Even the 333, mentioned recently on LOTS online as getting Ees, is not on the list. I'm keeping an open mind on Go Ahead dual sourcing, bearing in mind a lot of the bus orders are for existing routes

The 366 didn’t get any announcement. We know the 333 is due Ee class but didn’t get announced. I think that this is another 366 situation where they’ll have Ees turn up and it just won’t be announced. Ees would do well for AL to keep the garage standardised to Ees, of course they could go for Mes but with the issues facing with them I can’t see GAL being keen for more. I think GAL will only go to others if they simply can’t fit round a route. They don’t seem to be too worried about delivery timescale especially since they already have surplus electrics because infrastructure is taking way longer than deliveries themselves.
