I'd be interested to hear of any good transport podcasts. It feels like this is an topic that is a bit underrepresented. Not a podcast, but there was an interesting episode of Panorama a couple of weeks ago on the national bus crisis. I didn’t see it covered elsewhere in the forum, so I’ll add it here: Panorama, Britain’s Bus Crisis: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000ggpr via @bbciplayer It's worth mentioning that the podcast is not about the current coronavirus situation and its effect on the buses, as the programmes was filmed and first broadcast before that occurred.

On podcasts, most of the ones I listen to are pretty niche interests, but there are a few that may have more general appeal. I won't post links but you can find them all through your preferred method with a spot of searching.
Radio Moments - Conversations: now nearly 100 episodes of some of Britain's best known radio broadcasters talking about their lives and careers. Names include David Jensen, Brian Hayes, Chris Tarrant and John Inverdale among many others.
The Treehouse - Danny Baker's new podcast, a continuation of (and improvement on) his Five Live show
Rule of Three - comedians talk about shows that influenced their careers or that they just love. The latest one has David Mitchell talking with the other writers about the 'Remain Indoors' sketches from That Mitchell and Webb Look.
Cabin Fever - on YouTube, the peerless John Finnemore's Covid 19 induced follow-up to Cabin Pressure, as we see how Arthur Shappey copes with self-isolation
Steve Penk's Radio Nightmares - looks like this has stopped, but basically a radio blooper reel akin to It'll Be Alright On The Night

Just finished watching drive to survive the F1 behind the scenes documentary. The series is excellent and I'll be honest I don't even like F1 that much.

Not a podcast or boxset but on Absolute radio now they've got the front room festival where bands/singers are playing live in their front rooms. A nice listen if you like that kind of stuff.

Bit late to this and really feel my age! There's a lot of shows there which I would consider too modern for me, you'll see what I mean in a minute..... On All4 player (as you might have guessed from my sig) I have been watching a lot of Peep Show - generally this is excellent, a lot of very clever gags and I like the way it's filmed from the viewpoint of the character (I also think that many more people than would admit can relate to the character of Mark Corrigan). However, there is some adult themed content (particularly in series 1 & 2) which I find uncomfortable but this levels out over the later series. There are many moments of pure gold, such as where Jeremy is trying to get a music job (there's more to this but I'm not one for a spolier) and Super Hans comes out with a comment like this to his pitch: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbQIAp2QAUgStill Game: A brilliant comedy on tv but a big let down live (I know, my wife and I went to Glasgow for the final farewell tour and it was really awkward/embarrassing to watch - nothing like the tv series), here's a snippet but for younger members there is the odd expletive: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqkRcimNWacI like several YouTube channels, the BristolRE one is excellent, Peter (I've never met him and worked this out looking at the comments) is a really good talker and a natural at this: www.youtube.com/channel/UClYaqWluPuLpodJz5wo2TjA , a really good channel (I was a subscriber of another well known bus driver's channel until he continually had digs at LUL staff, particularly drivers) which I can't recommend enough, an excellent record of the days in the life of an Arriva driver. Finally, on YouTube again, old school comics make me laugh, especially the one who had the Embassy Club in Manchester - however, due to younger members etc, it's probably not a good idea I link something here due to the 'blue comic' nature of this......

Something I have really enjoyed watching over the last few weeks is race across the world on BBC2. Tonight is the last episode of the series has anyone else been watching these? I would love to do something like this such a great and memorable experience I'm sure. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_Across_the_World#Format

I do occasionally watch stuff like Abandoned Engineering or Ancient Aliens which is incredibly fascinating - do like a good documentary when not watching football or comedy programs.

Not a Podcast or Boxset but rather than create a new thread thought I'd put this on here. I've just finished watching this fantastic 5 part documentary series about the worlds longest bus journey (technically a coach but never mind) the journey starts in Rio de janeiro on the Atlantic coast and ends at Lima on the Pacific Coast 6,300KM away. The journey takes 4 days but most times it will take longer and the series looks at the people who live and work across the way as well as the people who are on the coach including the drivers. The route passes across the Amazon rainforest and the Andes. Here is the link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_ODFlqURxY

Not a podcast or box set but a movie. Recommend Air Force One, find it a great movie to watch, so realistic

Recommend Air Force One, find it a great movie to watch, so realistic Yeah, I've seen that one a few times before, really good film Does anyone object to listing any games here as well - I'm unsure how many people on here are interested in gaming so didn't want to create a new thread if the interest isn't there?
