Interestingly enough I noticed a few months ago that the 115 and 330 share quite a large parallel section, and thought ‘oh that’s interesting a route number that is twice the other’ (ie 330 is double 115) and have never batted an eyelid to it until now when I went to post about it.... From someone who got an A* in their maths A-level ..... 🤦🏻♂️ Erm - hate to rain on your parade but 115 x 2 = 230

That’s what I was alluding to in my post lol, didn’t think anything of it for ages 🤦🏻♂️

It looks right doesn’t it I think it’s because if you double 15, the ‘1’ in 15 becomes a ‘3’, so I clearly thought the same applies with the first ‘1’ too in 115 ..... er no 🤦🏻♂️😂

The 8 meets the 24, 56 and 176 whilst the N8 also meets the 88 (N8 and 104 both serve Stratford but 104 doesn't run at night) The 8 also flies over the 40 near Holborn Circus. EDIT: Sorry, others of you posted this earlier. Although not a multiple, there is an addition that has always intrigued me. Route 91 was introduced to replace route 14a (hitherto 14) between Hornsey Rise and Euston, and route 30 - hitherto 77a and even sometimes 77 - between King's Cross / Euston and Trafalgar Square; and 91 = 14 + 77

The 7 and 70 run parallel between East Acton and St Charles' Square I think route 70 got its number as it derived from route 7, which was replaced by route 70 beyond East Acton

Any even-numbered route that the 2 meets along the way is a multiple, e.g. 36, 68, 88, 432, 468 etc.

It's a pity that route 369 in Ilford was replaced by an EL route. Otherwise routes 123 & 369 would have intersected there.
Routes 89 & 178 both terminate in Lewisham.
Not entirely related but an interesting coincidence is that the first 2 GA London routes to gain electric double-decks look set to be routes 106 & 212, as route 357 being a retain is being put on the back burner.
