Re- close stops. H19, one way circular route, serves two stops about ten feet apart. Gayton Road stop, then serves Northwick Park Station then returns to Kenton Rd to serve Northwick Avenue stop ten feet along from Gayton Rd stop.

Is there any route which currently doesn’t have any temporary lights, diversions, or roadworks along it’s route? Trivial but very unique I'd probably say the 207. I use Uxbridge Road most days and at the moment there's no roadworks. Reason why I've excluded the 607 is because there is a bus stop closure in Uxbridge Correcting myself but the 207 has roadworks around Adelaide Grove.

Throughout the course of this year the Russell Square area effectively loses three route idents for three separate reasons; the 168 replaced, the X68 renumbered and the 59 rerouted.

241, 300, and 325 towards Newham Way on Freemason Rd. Stops Vandome Close to Russell Rd are pretty close, don't know the actual distance. The Leslie Road to Vandome Close stops are closer.

Does anyone know of a closer pair of bus stops in London that serve the same route? Ten shortest distances between stops: - Route R2: Walnuts Centre to Orpington Police Station - 38 m; - Routes 101 and 308: Woodbine Place to Wanstead High Street / Wanstead Station - 54 m; - Route 25: Startford Bus Station (AP) to Startford Bus Station (B) - 57 m; - Route 125: Colindale Station to Colindale Station (CB) - 59 m; - Route R68: Courtlands Avenue to Taylor Avenue - 60 m; - Route 20: The Broadway to Torrington Drive - 62 m; - Route W15: Billet Road to Higham Hill Road - 70 m; - Route 208: Orpington / Perry Hall Road to High Street / Carlton Parade - 75 m; - Routes 110, 190, 267, H91 and N9: Ravenscourt Park to Ravenscourt Park Station - 75 m; - Route 43: Halliwick Park to St. John's Church - 76 m. I’m sure Anerley/The Mitre to Samos Road for routes 75, 157, 197, 356 will be in the next ten 🤣. I’m surprised they’re not in the top ten as they’re extremely close. The stops you mentioned must be ridiculously close then

Until about 20 years ago Ham Parade stop was at Parklays end of the parade, the southbound stops either side of this pair are about 700m away, and are actually 2 northbound stops within both these long gaps.

149 must have some sort of record for the number of bus lanes or total distance or % of route that is bus lane.
Amazing and reliable journey times and hence good passenger numbers. Shame they took out Tottenham part but still good.

Shame they took out Tottenham part but still good. This demonstrates clearly how much bus lanes and bus priority are needed to operate fast, reliable and attractive bus services. And of course its isn't just the 149, numerous other bus routes parallel the 149 for part of its length and they also benefit from the bus lanes.

What routes have the most turns? I'd say the K5, S3 and S4 are contenders
