Animals were mentioned earlier - I wonder if the alpacas one sees in the field opposite the Bo Peep pub on the R7 are unique to that route?

Is that the one with two level crossings, one almost immediately after the other? Always was meaning to check that out one day. Yes but I think both routes only cross one of them as they turn off to serve Chiswick business park Yes they both do exactly that, 440 used to continue over the second level crossing until the rerouting via the business park.

Until 2019, all routes serving Feltham other than the X26 used to use the level crossing there until it closed. No, none of them used the level crossing.

Officially the H25 used to run via the level crossing towards Butts Farm, although in practice buses could run via New Road instead if the level crossing was closed. It was formally rerouted to run via New Road on contract renewal in 2011.
The other Feltham routes certainly didn't use the level crossing.

The 111 has a level crossing in hampton. Which other routes if any have a level crossing (trains, not trams)? The 152 and the 969 are the only ones that come to mind for me.

Yes, I had a vague memory of seeing H25s running across the level crossing. This is certainly not possible anymore since the level crossing has been permanently shut.

Which consecutive route numbers have the largest distance between their nearest termini?
The 371/372 as well as 370/371 I think must be strong contenders. Manor circus / Hornchurch and manor circus / Romford market is close to 30 miles as the crow flies
Any others?

But the question was about nearest termini - for 65/66 that would be Leytonstone and Ealing, which isn't quite as far. If we were going for the furthest termini I'd say 607/608 - Uxbridge to Shenfield.
