Oldest bus shelter in London... Gipsy Hill southbound on 3/N3?? There's also an old shelter in Chase Side, Southgate, just south of the junction with Osidge Lane/Avenue Road. The shelter isn't used by bus passengers any more any more as it is considered too close to the junction for today's traffic conditions, and the stop has moved further down the road. There's also a metal shelter in Hampstead Lane, at the westbound Compton Avenue Kenwood House stop (served by route 210 towards Brent Cross) that looks like it could be quite old. Here in Torbay we have three shelters that date back to the days of trams (they were introduced between 1907-1911 and withdrawn in 1934), although only this one in Preston, between Paignton and Torquay, is still used by bus passengers. I remember when bus stops (not shelters) used to be concrete before they changed to steal that must have changed around the end of the 90s? Yes I remember them as well up until the late 90's - up until the bus stop re-organisation that took place on Brixton Hill, we had concrete flag poles allover and same in Brixton itself. I also remember the older bus shelters that were a sort of dark grey colour with the brown? seats that would move when you sat on them I remember them. The seats were red and shaped like a square? They were very uncomfortable lol

Ah yes ... forgot about Grays completely And guess Waterloo is the only one within zone 1! I think Kings Cross garage just about sneaks into Zone 1. Also could potentially include Battersea as the Northern Line extension is to fully be within Zone 1. If we look back to when buses had zones, KC is actually in Zone 2. The boundary on York Way was at the junction with Copenhagen Street.
QB is also certainly in Zone 2; the Z1/2 boundary followed the Thames between Vauxhall and Albert Bridge. The forthcoming Battersea Power Station Station is a bit of an anomaly!

Route 393 is the only former East Thames Buses route to have been entirely north of the Great Eastern Main Line and now run by Metroline.

The 135, D7 and 277 (well the D3 prior to the route swap between D3 and 277) must be on the longest running “temporary” diversion.
Currently the buses do a loop of Canary Wharf in both directions. But back till 2011 / 12 / 13 (don’t remember till exactly when) southbound the buses used to run through upper bank street and bank street and exited in the middle of the marsh wall roundabout (and vice versa northbound). Bank Street was closed for several years - one lane has opened recently but let’s see when the other lane opens and if the buses go back to the original LoR
Any other examples?

No earlier than 2021 i would imagine, after the long term upgrade of Bank Station's complete below ground.
