Kingsbury and Queensbury are adjacent stations on the same line. However, Kingsbury and King's Cross are not served by the same line. Likewise, Queensbury, Queensway and Queen's Park are all on different lines.

Kingsbury and Queensbury are adjacent stations on the same line. However, Kingsbury and King's Cross are not served by the same line. Likewise, Queensbury, Queensway and Queen's Park are all on different lines. Although Kingsbury was a long-established village about half-a-mile from where the station was built, Queensbury was a completely made-up name and did not refer to any local settlement or landmark. It was coined by the Metropolitan Railway when they built a station on their new Stanmore branch* in what was then open countryside, to stimulate the suburban development which mushroomed in this area in the 1930s. Northwood Hills was similarly made-up - I recall reading somewhere that it was actually the winning entry in a newspaper competition! * The Stanmore branch opened in 1932, the last year of the Metropolitan Railway's independence before it was compulsorily purchased by the new London Passenger Transport Board. LT incorporated it into the Bakerloo Line in 1939 and it became part of the Jubilee Line in 1979.

What I said was all of the H&C stations are shared with another Underground line. Here’s what I mean: Barking to Aldgate East are shared with the District Line. Liverpool St to Great Portland Street are shared with the Metropolitan and the Circle. And Baker Street to Hammersmith are shared with the Circle and Bakerloo (although the Bakerloo has a separate station at Edgware Road).

Because Mill Hill East and Cockfosters have now become step-free, Watford will be the only Underground terminus to have a bar instead of a circle. (This is when the map gets updated that is).

I wonder if you watched a certain YouTube video by Geoff Marshall 😂 You beat me to it and I did manage to guess it right only as I concluded you wouldn't upgrade a station that was earmarked for closure but apparently, a commenter replied to me saying Watford Station would be difficult to upgrade in any event.

Could’ve added to my comment suggesting that Watford would be the only one on the whole map with a bar.
