As Londoners, it seems Sadiq has signed us up to eat no more than 44 grams of meat a day, basically under half a quarter pounder a day. I did not sign up to this and reject what he has signed me up for! bahahahaha, so what happens if you eat more than 44 grams. Would would be doing the calculation. Is this going to happen in London only. I think April 1st is some months away.

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/09/15/sadiq-khan-green-london-net-zero-ulez-c40-mayors-2030/Here's an article from last month about it. I think it's extremely unlikely. I would never comply to the climate loonies demands; the article says meat and dairy banned, only allowed one holiday every 3 years, only allowed to buy clothes 3 times a year As I said this seems very unlikely to happen but I do not wish to be controlled by climate clowns Just look at Greta Thunberg and see how much of a muppet she has become No way am I subscribing to the Telegraph just to read this article. I don't care if it is a free trial. Don't worry, you would be forced soon to subscribe to the Guardian and Telegraph by Khan, probably to come in his new crackpot manifesto

I mean beef wise I only buy less than 5% fat steak mince which will weigh a lot more after cooking than cheaper 20% fat beef mince. I also enjoy duck which would weigh a lot less after cooking compared to its listed weight when sold uncooked.

I can’t vote for Susan Hall. Some of her views are abhorrent. If the Conservatives had put someone forward who was half way moderate and reasonable, I’d be tempted to vote for them, but they haven’t, so I won’t. My vote will be going to Labour (which probably won’t be hugely popular here!)

I would NEVER make the same mistake twice.

I'm waiting for more independents to reveal themselves as that's where my vote will go just like it did during the last mayoral election - I've never voted for Khan and never will whilst Hall really shouldn't even be running with the awful stuff that comes out of her mouth.

My priority is to do my little bit to ensure Susan Hall gets nowhere near any sort of power, and the best way to do that is to vote Labour. I personally think London mayors should do two terms and then step aside, but that’s another argument altogether. For the Conservatives, it’s a shame. A moderate centre to centre right candidate would have had a very good chance of getting my vote. Susan Hall is not that candidate. Far from it. She does not represent my views even slightly.

Does any politician accurately represent your views? Khan is entirely self serving with so little thought beyond the blame somebody else rhetoric. This city is so much worse than it was a decade ago.

No, but Khan is much closer than Hall!

I personally feel all mayors and prime ministers should adopt the American system of a 2 term maximum. People become stale after and then some tend to behave like dictators and see the job as though it is a roost to sit on for life.

I sincerely hope it's not a return to the 2021 elections where there were 20 candidates to choose from. Maybe Adreas has 10 grand to burn, because none of the independents got their deposits back.
