Hmmm, A Labour spokesman said: "This election is a close two-horse race between Sadiq and an extreme Tory candidate" That goes against what many on here have been saying especially from fully paid up Labour party members who were saying Khan was miles ahead. As I say I never take any pollsters for granted and what the spokesman said makes sense. London: Conservative Susan Hall to appoint a women's commissioner if electedTory mayoral candidate Susan Hall has promised to appoint a women's commissioner if she is elected in May.www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-68543409

I’d have considered voting for a moderate Conservative but Susan Hall isn’t it and it will be a sad day for London if she gets the mayoralty.

I wouldn't say anything is a done deal, but judging by the Tories self imploding the way they are and Khan despite somehow trying to self destruct himself is still far more popular. I might actually think that Khan might face more threat from another party as opposed to the Conservatives.

My feeling is that if we have another 20 candidate mayoral election it may saturate Khans power base. People will be far more selective with their one vote this year. I for one, despite admittedly being a solid Tory, am not convinced Susan Hall is the one. I like her but just not enough to be Mayor. I’d rather someone like Emma Best had gone for it, I think she is brilliant. I’d rather lend my vote to a solid independent candidate. I despise Khan and his blame the other person politics, not to mention I’ll never vote for someone who continues to employ the frankly useless overpaid Amy Lame.

Emma Best would have been a way better choice. Rather more moderate, and a lot more aware of the challenges facing London. I’m not really an anything politics wise - I tend to vote with whoever is the best candidate in my eyes rather than by party. Unfortunately for many on here, I’ll be voting for Khan in the mayoralty this time, but not with any degree of joy. He’s the best of a pretty poor bunch, and I hope he’ll choose to move on in 2028.

Come on guys, we have a very honoury candidate, lets get him in One of these days I would really want to see these people win, then poo themselves when the poo hits the fan. It would be a nice twist to Brewsters Millions London Mayoral elections: Intergalactic space warrior Count Binface to standCount Binface, who describes himself as an intergalactic space warrior, is standing in the 2024 London mayoral elections as it is time to "take the trash out".www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-68552817

www.standard.co.uk/news/politics/sadiq-khan-susan-hall-mayor-london-election-lead-crime-housing-poll-b1146988.htmlSadiq Khan looks to be on course for yet another victory in the polls in a few weeks. Probably aided even more by the fact that the voting system is now first past the post so he won't need to worry much about 2nd choices. Notably Londoners are quite dissatisfied with him with only 38% of Londoners saying they're satisfied with his performance. It's certainly concerning for the Tories where you have Londoners dissatisfied with a Labour mayor but you are unable to capitalise on it as you've shown to be the worse option regardless.

Today despicable Labour MPs talked out a private members’ bill which would have cancelled the undemocratic ULEZ expansion. Shame on them!
