The only reason I nominated Stagecoach (the same reason goes for the branches of Go-Ahead) is because their fleet has just become boring and REPETITIVE in the last few years. Compare the 472 today (Enviro 400, Enviro 400 MMC and the VERY occasional OmniCity) to what it was in 2017 (Enviro 400, Enviro MMC, more OmniCities (having said that, I'm not a huge fan of them, but it's still variety) and ALX400s, with the greatest double-deck engine ever, 2nd place goes to that of the Enviro 400s manufactured from 2005 to 2008). Just bring a bit more variety to your routes, Stagecoach and Go-Ahead Someone, South East London
I’m afraid every bus operator is going to have boring types of vehicles in the next few years when electrics become the norm. Up north is where it’s at for example in Birmingham even though they have hybrids and electrics they still have 18+ year old double deckers going around still. Given that no more diesel or hybrid buses are being built for London, we are currently living in a golden age for variety of types. Perhaps the most significant types are those no longer being built such as VDL integrals and (albeit often boring) standard Enviro 200s. Even hybrid classic Enviro 400s have already ceased production.

The last thing I will say is that their resprays look terrible (the ex TT Gemini 3s most notable), probably because painting the whole thing red is cheaper than taking the time to reinstate black highlights (eg the pillars between windows) but then again, I am comparing them to RATP who mostly (not including some of the ADEs or DLE30026) keep all black highlights, for example the SN60 DLEs look amazing as well as the recently refurbed B5LH G2s. (I do know that most operators like to respray their buses fully red) I might be one of the very few people who actually like Metroline's refurbishment of the ex Tower Transit VHs! Might actually prefer it to RATPs version (VH45124-VH45152).

I mean sure- they never originally had black between the windows but the headlights and rear window surround just doesn't look right without the black. (Plus ML AH seem to have a knack at making any bus look awful, whether it be their bodywork repairs or even just general cleaning. They should take note from Metroline UX who seem to be better) Plus they look very worn tired, even the RATP OmniCities do, and that's coming from a due hard OmniCity fan 😂. It's strange how they age so fast... AH need some fresh routes and fresh buses. I'd love for some of Metroline's central london VWHs to be cascaded down to AH in the coming years

At least with the 472, you had four, but now it at least has two different bus types on it, with the 196, when it was with go-ahead it had the Gemini 1, Gemini 2, Gemini 3, E400, E400H MMC and E400H, now it only has E400MMC's, which are nice buses, but the amount of bus types operating the 196 has massively decreased, this is one of the only things which make me like abellio london less

Going by interior and exterior designs, my favourite 3 are Abellio, Metroline and Go Ahead. Living in an area mostly dominated by Metroline, but with some Abellio and RATP Group operated bus routes, I don't particularly like the design of some of the SD RATP buses, particularly older ones like the 398. However some Metroline buses like the ones on the 306 are horrendous. Don't like Tower Transit either, but the one operator I can't stand based on interior/exterior design is Arriva.

Expecting a lot of Tower Transit bashing in this thread. I don't actually think that will happen, I wouldn't put Tower down as my least favourite operator here (despite everything I say about them ) simply because while service is poor, their buses are honestly an amazing standard. i like their VDWs with their dark purple interiors as i think they go really well against the TT moquette, also like the former DNHs for the same reason.

It's strange how they age so fast... Awful buses? Come for a ride on Arriva's 318! Approaching 15 years of age, they desperately cling to power like Vladimir Putin, and look a state. Any blinds still working are so grubby, it's just as bad as their "white blank" ones. Occasional relief comes in the form of their sole MMC, or cameo appearances from W4 buses from Wood Green. The EN's had a mild refresh in 2019, but it's hard to see what was done I like Abellio interiors, then Stagecoach, and the LT's look decent enough. Arriva have had their newer logo out for 3+ years, but their LT's look a mess with old vinyls, especially after a wrap is removed. Stagecoach ones of similar vintage look smarter I would like to see Sullivan put some sort of logo on their buses, rather than just a roundel

Also Metroline (still) leading the way in terms of least popularity

Tower Transit they are trash I will probably get in trouble for this but think you are also here to spam and get reactions. Two new accounts posting in one day seems a bit odd especially when another dodgy account has gone off radar suddenly.
I know I should bit my lip but think it spoils things when you have days like today here.

Moreover Tower Transit doesn’t exist and the comment is completely irrelevant. I also disliked Tower for realibility but regretted for being so bold about that. Forum staff really need to crack on with spam accounts.

Tower Transit they are trash Whilst I agree with the OP about Tower Transit (wouldn't go as far as calling them 'trash', but at the same time I don't like them), I think he should have at least given some valid reason, like I think the interiors aren't appealing, and the fact that there are too many tower transit routes (and RATP) operating in West london, which is sad because West London used to be dominating West London, and now it's losing its grip mostly to RATP
