Looks like City might be panic buying this summer I honestly hope they don't win this year (coming from a Man Utd fan) even if Utd doesn't win it would be nice if someone else wins

As a Utd fan this has been our best transfer window for many years. No coincidence that after we appoint a director of football, our transfers get done quickly with little fuss.
I’ve been on holiday for the past week and had limited access to internet connection. I read rumours of Ronaldo going to City a few days ago and was pretty disgusted. Got home last night to read that he rejoined Utd. Club legend status confirmed 😎
Now we need to clear some of the dead wood…Phil Jones, Mata, Lingard. Potentially Martial for the right money and Matic if we bring in a CDM this summer.
Hopefully next summer we go in for Jude Bellingham. I reckon he will be levels above Declan Rice and other potential CDM targets on the rumour mill.

Mate the way Darren Fletcher is ripping on Arsenal on this match is astonishing. Cedric Soares my word I'm speechless.

We were always going to get battered here - anyway, this will please everyone outside of Arsenal as it’s pretty clear majority want Arsenal to cease to exist. I even had a Chelsea fan agree with me that he is seeing an anti Arsenal agenda and whilst some of the criticism is fully justified, there are many who have taken it beyond that

But how the 2nd goal was not disallowed for Laporte punching Chambers in the head and getting a deserved red card, things might have been different.

This has been going on for years but it's more blatant in recent years. It's almost as if an arsenal player would need to be either near death or seriously injured before a decision would go in their favour but Arsenal has been rotten for many years as well which hasn't helped.

Arsenal was far better under Arsène Wenger and I'm sure Granit Xhaka having his meltdown a few years ago on the pitch hasn't helped the teams credibility. Regarding managers, I reckon despite being unpopular with pundits Roberto Di Matteo would be a better manager than Arteta. Under Chelsea he was an excellent manager for his 8 months; he managed to win 2 major trophies.

I think the rot set in under Wenger and has continued since he left, just seems to be no ambition at the club. Roberto Di Matteo isn't a bad shout at all, I think Arteta is out of his depth and I think any new manager should try and offload Granit Xhaka who is just a liability.

He throws a fist, it connects with his face. How is that a bit of push and shove?

See the thing with Xhaka is he should be really good because he's experienced (being 28) which is what Arsenal lacks in. A lot of the players are 18-20 year olds who don't have much experience and it's the same that happened in the Final of the Euros, Bukayo Saka is 19 and due to Southgate's poor planning of the game it ended up being him taking on a make or break penalty. If Arsenal had more experience and someone better in management than Arteta, they could definitely return to their former glory.

Arsenal were already going into decline in Wenger's final years at the club, but the 'Wenger out' brigade really hounded him out. Thing is, Arsenal have been far worse since then, and I think they'll probably finish 8th at best this season. They just don't have the players like other squads like Man City and Liverpool to be competing for the top 4 or title at the moment

Lol, Roberto Di Matteo is a poor choice, he is as inexperienced as Arteta is with both winning the FA Cup and whilst he won a Champions League, there he is reason he was sacked (first club to win it and go out in the group stage the following season and the group wasn’t difficult either) and why he has never had another top job since. Erik Ten Haag or Graham Potter are my preferred choices, both play good football and enjoy working with younger players plus are both experienced enough. The club tried to sell Xhaka this summer but clearly no one was willing to pay his value hence why the Roma move failed to happen. Arteta has been backed, makes no sense to give him £130m+ and then get rid after 3 games. A new manager isn’t going to solve this issue nor is he going to be able to sell Xhaka any easier - we’ve been here before with Emery who came back to haunt us with Villareal and once Arteta is sacked because I don’t trust my club to make the correct decision, he will probably come back to haunt us with his new team

They just don't have the players like other squads like Man City and Liverpool to be competing for the top 4 or title at the moment The issue here is Kroenke not being willing to invest in the club at all to then get a bigger return. The Arsenal fans are paying just for the money to go directly into the pockets of the rich rather than going to the club to use. Arteta has a hard job, people want him out but I think he will just be like Emery where he does better once he is no longer held back by unsuitable owners.
