Absolutely shocked, he did a good job there.

The football world has gone crazy. Prepare for the first managerial sacking in the Prem within a month of starting the season

So I've just seen some of the fixtures now and for us facing palace on a Monday night. Oh boy I'm somewhat dreading that.
I don't know what it is about that team with Monday night fixtures. You only need to ask the likes of Man City and Liverpool.

David de Gea leaves Man Utd www.bbc.com/sport/football/66143509.ampIt was kind of inevitable considering he's been a free agent since 1 July. Wish him well for the future, but can Man Utd get anyone as good as De Gea. If not we can say bye bye to Premier league titles for sure

Watched a bit of Southampton who will almost certainly come up if they keep the same team. The key thing are these changes to increase 'ball in play'. I did not like the idea before yesterday and in a game with limited delays we had 15 minutes extra. I can see late kick offs ending 10:15 - 10:30. There is a difference between time wasting and 'ball in play'. For example they will time the time between a goal and restart. I would say most of that time is natural part of football and not time wasting. I suspect this will not last. Expect fewer clean sheets as well.

I suppose we're going to have to get used to games ending over two hours after they kicked off, some goal celebrations are a bit excessive. Southampton looked much the better team although JWP is still being linked with a move to West Ham.

I had Southampton down as winning the division providing they can keep the mix of experienced players with their decent collection of youngsters so good to see them starting well - I was won over by Russell Martin last season having not really been a fan of him previously so be interesting if he can keep this going. Now that West Ham have moved on from Ward-Prowse with a deal agreed for Alvarez of Ajax, be interesting to see if anyone else comes in for him

This transfer window has been crazy. I can't lie. Look how much money has been spent all over the gaff.

Bayern Munich sign Harry Kane from Tottenham www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66484550Not up to date with the transfers but I do wonder whether Tottenham will still be able to do well without him. It's good that he's going somewhere else, Spurs have been average at best over the past 5-10 years with a couple of few season however especially since the sacking of Poch in 2019 it's only gone downhill for them

In saying that imagine the irony that spurs win a trophy this season as he's left.

But honestly I do feel as though Spurs are going to struggle big time now. They had their "GoLdEn" years by being above Arsenal for a while and did NOTHING to capitalise on that apart from one champions league final.
