Goal difference could play an interesting part on Sunday should City draw today. So if that happens let's say Arsenal score one goal, City would have to score five goals to get ahead. If City win today then it really is game over for Arsenal as I can't see the hammers winning at Eastlands on Sunday. So many variations They would only need to score 4 as they have scored more goals

So I can see scenario where City do get three more than Arsenal. The thing is they have not been trying to better their goal difference lately and somehow managed to win games comfortably.

If ever a time I would say the boys from N17 are useless it would be now. Those boys will never prosper in terms of titles.

He was through on goal, this guy that loves to score for fun and he does that.

Ange isn't happy, certainly a bizarre situation last night and I think most Tottenham fans were happy to forgo an outside chance of 4th place rather than help their bitter rivals.

It may well be over by half time although shades of the QPR game in 2012 when they needed Aguero's famous stoppage time winner.

Chiellini said it - “it’s the history of the Tottenham” - more preoccupied with what their rivals do than themselves Like I just don't get it. The fact they would rather lose the top 4 spot and ensure Arsenal potentially don't win the title peeing away millions of pounds that could be used fir investments. Do you know what would be a big egg in your face moment. If City lost or drew and Arsenal won on Sunday. That would really show them up.

Exactly - I mean, had they nothing to play for or if they had a similar amount of titles to us, then I could understand it a lot more but to sit there and say the things I've read and seen, "I'd rather lose 5-0", "I'd happily play no European football, let alone Europa" and even "I'd rather get relegated" when they could get 4th place and the chance to sign better players, particularly when Utd & Chelsea may be competing more consistently next season is baffling. There is nothing that would make me want to ruin my clubs progress just because my rival might win something. If they fail next season and Ange walks/sacked, I hope everyone gives it to them.

I thought Spurs played well but their fans let them down and did not give them the push that has helped them on occasion this season. Just imagine the farce that would have taken place if they did have nothing to play for and Villa won on Monday. More fans would have been against them and the players would also not have turned up. I understand the fans. This is a rivalry. They have Arsenal mates or colleagues that have been more or less quiet for about two decades. To a very much lesser extent, West Ham fans would also not want Arsenal to win too because of the London rivalry and that they are relatively close. Since when have fans been supportive of each other. If it was the other way round, it would be much worse as Arsenal would not want Tottenham winning their first title.

Exactly it would be the same if not worse the other way round and I can understand the Tottenham fans. They only had an outside chance of 4th place if they won but their lives would be made a misery if 'Woolwich' won the title. Ange is obviously focused only on Tottenham and probably doesn't give two hoots about who wins the title.

I've nothing bad to say against Ange and his team, they gave a professional performance - my issue is with their fans. No, I don't understand the fans at all - if you have something to play for, then you surely want your team to win otherwise why bother supporting a team then, just be a neutral or an Arsenal hater instead? Like I said, if they had nothing to play for, I could understand it - all it shows is that those fans who cheered against us have a small mentality and it shows throughout Spurs history and why they are heavily lambasted by even non Gooners as a result. We have no rivalry with West Ham - the only thing we have in common is a shared hatred of Spurs. If it was the other way around, I'd want my team to win so we qualify for the top four because that's my priority first and foremost - for my team to do well. I couldn't give a toss what the consequence was and I can't stand Spurs as much as the next person. Like I said, Spurs better hope that doesn't come back to haunt them.
