In all fairness I think the sacking was harsh, he's only been there for 4 months! I'd expect the board to give him at least a full season, like I think Tottenham have gone downhill since Pochettino was sacked, like Mourinho didn't even have a full season, it just seems that Tottenham are chopping and changing for the sake of it! Harry Kane should also go, he doesn't seem to be that interested in Tottenham anymore. I wish Nuno the best in his new job, hopefully joining a team where they give him a decent amount of time to show what he can do with his club. Unless Tottenham were really struggling, 10 games is just not enough and unfair! Not only harsh but stupid IMO - they are currently eighth and 5 points off the top four after 10 games so hardly a time to panic even in their current form. We ended up 15th by December after a long winless run but put a strong second half of the season together to finish in the top ten so there wasn’t anything to suggest that Nuno couldn’t of turned it around. They are a confusing club I have to say: Chairman: we want to go back to attacking football, brings a defensive coach in Fans: we want attacking football, also fans: let’s get Conte Nuno was doomed upon taking the job. The Harry Kane saga hasn’t helped though that’s nothing to do with Nuno, the usual penny pinching from Levy as well as being 8th choice contributed heavily - performances were awful but you need time to sort things out because they are a right old mess and I thought us & Utd was bad

Nuno was struggling like a Streetdeck on the 123 The press conferences were dour, no expression of either anger or joy in the press conferences, you got a sense that anyone interviewing him had really dumbed down each question to get a response, if any www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0i--Qo9WtEWhen he was saying how good Ronaldo was and how everyone in Portugal revered him, it was like they were rolling out the red carpet for Man United to come and trample on... so I'm not surprised by the outcome. Looks like ULEZ (Ultra Low Expression Zone) has been scrapped and it's back to more familiar Spurs football which was more attacking. Nuno was right that we were 'not on the right track'. In recent times we have used Arriva Guildford's business model of bringing in knackered coaches from elsewhere and wondering why competitors have overtaken us

I can't see that being anymore than a short term fix at best, other ex Chelsea managers haven't done too well at Tottenham recently.

This season they may need to avoid relegation first.

This season they may need to avoid relegation first. I don't think he realistically could unless Newcastle go on a total rampage in the January transfer window. It will take quite a few years for Newcastle to start making it into Europe like how Manchester City and PSG managed.

Still in awe at how Solskjaer hasn't been sacked yet. As a Liverpool fan I secretly want him to stay on, its too funny.

It will take quite a few years for Newcastle to start making it into Europe like how Manchester City and PSG managed. I actually think they might not make Europe unless they splash £200m and given there is now FFP (even in it's watered down version) which didn't exist when City & PSG first started splashing money and the recent backlash against Newcastle's sponsorship deal where 18 out of 20 clubs rejected a vote banning commercial opportunities involving pre-existing business relationships, known as related party transactions - City abstained and Newcastle voted against which is no surprise given City have an existing deal that contravene's this and Newcastle tried to start one up. It took us £150m just to get us started on the way back to actually looking like a possible outsider for the top four this season and obviously our squad is miles better than Newcastle's even before the money was spent.

There's talk of Eddie Howe going to Norwich, though I can't see them turning stuff around. I am still stunned over the latest fleet move of Conte (u) > AR. Hopefully Harry Winks and Matt Doherty can be withdrawn and flogged to Ensignbus for spares or just scrapped at Enfield

Might aswell keep Farke on until the end of the season then let Howe freshen things up for a new season in the Championship.
