People have been talking about Jesus' resurrection for a long time but it has gone to another level this summer. We know who he is and suddenly everyone thinks he can do more miracles. Arsenal will be better but I would be surprised if Jesus gets 15 PL goals.
It is all about Darwin's evolution for me at Liverpool. Can he adapt to the Premier League? I thought on closer inspection he was quite poor against Fulham and had poor touches for his goal and assist.
It serious over at Man City. There are no jokes in Haaland.

I'd pretty much agree with your top 6 there, though Chelsea's rare Goodison Park win today gives me hope we're in for a good season. Before today they'd only won there twice in the last 8 years and both of those seasons they'd went on to win the league. Sterling, Koulibaly and Cucurella looked good on their debuts as well, though hopefully the standard will improve as we didn't play at our best. I think Newcastle could finish best of the rest, though I'm hoping Palace could be the surprise package team that competes for a spot in Europe. Though for the relegation battle, I think Nottingham Forest will struggle as they've made a whole load of new signings which may not work well in their favour if they don't gel together quickly. Southampton definitely do look as if they could be in that relegation battle this season too, and I agree in saying this could be the year when they may finally be relegated. Fulham could survive though if Mitrovic actually scores some goals like he did today and not save his best for the championship. Marco Silva seems a better prospect than Scott Parker was at Fulham too, and I agree I can't see Bournemouth surviving another season with Parker at the helm. Brentford may also be in for a tricky season should they suffer from so called second season syndrome like Huddersfield and Sheffield United did in recent seasons (and Leeds nearly falling victim last season), but I do like having them in the premier league so hopefully not. I'm also a Chelsea fan and think we've done some good business so far in the window, but we need some more and I'm confident there'll be some late business just hopefully not some of the awful panic buys we've done in the past. Another right back to compete with Reece James is essential (though I fear we may not get one now Azpilicueta has signed a new deal). Based on today, Ten Hag has a huge task ahead of him to turn United around. Southampton are a confusing team as they always seem to have rotten results but manage to get enough points on the board to stay up even though their squad is poor, I think they'll just about scrape survival this year. Everton could well be in trouble, Lampard's squad is poor and he desparately needs new players - though given Everton's shambolic recruitment I'm not holding my breath and I think he might be the first manager to get the sack. I have a feeling their luck might run out this season. If they survive this then I will be surprised

His goal record when playing in the middle at City is pretty good when you consider he played second fiddle to the excellent Sergio Aguero and then was shoved onto the wing last season. Obviously I hope Jesus does well for us but I don't think anyone has mentioned doing miracles or anything

I didn't really expect Man Utd to get much at Brentford but I didn't see this scoreline coming😳 If it's any consolation, we were where you guys currently are - last season, we were bottom of the league, albeit it was after 3 games and we hadn't scored a single goal and yet we ended up 5th just 2 points off 4th

I still think they'll end up 6th eventually

The amount of abuse I received not only from Man Utd fans but other fans were so brutal. Another bad result that came to mind was Wenger's 1000th game

Chelsea fans have every right to be annoyed given they dominated the game and the fact the 2nd Spurs goal should not stand due to Cucurella having his hair yanked by Romero who looks very easy to wind up and on another day, would have been off for two yellow card offences. Wasn't it Romero who made a very poor challenge against Southampton in the opening game?

My patience with Havertz is now on a thin edge. Might have to cut our losses next summer like we did Timo. But yeah I don't want to see Anthony Taylor ref our games again (but he definitely will the slimeball)

Clearly neither Tottenham goal should have stood, a foul proir to the first and also Richarlison stood offside in the keepers eyeline and the hair pulling incident prior to the second goal that should have seen Romero sent off.

Yet again we are having to think about the fact that we cannot hold any of these referees to account, we just have to wait for them to retire whilst they ruin result after result.

Your correct that there was a foul in the build up to the first one but the issue with that is there was roughly 50 second more play between that and the goal plus Chelsea actually won the ball back in that time. The game can't be wound that far back given how much time elapsed to get into a position to defend plus Jorginho had a chance to clear but overplayed Harsh on Jasper Carrot, he is a great comedian
