See here’s where TfL need to hit back at unions and go on an anti-union campaign to spin it to make out like they don’t care about passenger safety, particularly women, out late night and that it is the best interest of all Londoners to bring back the night tube. Basically put it the hands of the customer and media to shame the unions into backing down. I may have watched too much Scandal but that’s what I would do. Political suicide given we have a Labour London Mayor I would not say that, after all it does not matter whether Labour or Conservative mayor of London, the RMT have had a lot of strikes.

It would be, Khan will probably want a shot at leadership soon and you often need trade unions to endorse you. One that's taken an active stance against one may struggle getting the support of any. However I do agree the RMT and the drivers are becoming more of a nuisance these days. It irritates me when a lot of them are on 50K+ and still complain about pay increases, then strike which just affects the Londoners who earn a lot less than them.

Further all train operator and instructor operators working on the Central and Victoria lines are instructed not to book on for any duty commencing: between 20:30 on 27/11/21 and 04:29 on 28/11/21 between 20:30 on 3/12/21 and 04:29 on 4/12/21 between 20:30 on 4/12/21 and 04:29 on 5/12/21 between 20:30 on 10/12/21 and 04:29 on 11/12/21 between 20:30 on 11/12/21 and 04:29 on 12/12/21 between 20:30 on 17/12/21 and 04:29 on 18/12/21 All train operator and instructor operators working on night-tube lines (Central, Jubilee, Northern, Piccadilly & Victoria) are also instructed not to book on for any duty commencing from 04:30 on 18/12/21 to 04:29 19/12/21. This needs to be accredited to the RMT. ASLEF drivers are not in dispute on this.

Been reported elsewhere Ensign are running extras on the 29! Probably nothing fancy just standard fleet buses?
Any sign of extras elsewhere?

The Piccadilly Line is totally suspended so the 29 will be taking a hammering. The Central, Jubilee, Northern and Victoria Lines all have a limited service and other tube and rail routes are operating normally so I suppose that whatever else is running is deemed able to cope.

A40 absolutely packed today especially eastbound, around 11.30am/12pm due to the strike action as the central line parallels the A40 from about Perivale eastwards

Between Finsbury Park and TCR. I was surprised this would even run; especially with TfL in dire straights!

I believe it was initially stated as TCR to Finsbury Park, checked back and also your message confirmed it was Wood Green - Finsbury Park.

The 17/43/141/263/271 were absolutely packed and combined with traffic on both the Archway Road & a closure of Highgate W Hill causing tailbacks all the way down Highgate Hill there were major delays to pretty much all bus routes in the area.
As I say I understand why TFL workers are striking but if Sadiq wants an office return he has to put an end to this ASAP.

Agreed, the strike is just a nuisance, I do think the night tube should at least partially return, so that the economy can bounce back more

Hate to be that person but I imagine had TFL been in a better financial position with these strikes taking place I'd imagine driverless trains would be on the cards.

Totally agree here, can't wait for the day we have driverless trains by this point. I understand they'll all still require on board staff members much like the DLR, however I would think it's a more appropriate task for the wage.
