108: "Stratford", despite its terminus being at Stratford International. The route doesn't even serve Stratford bus station. 521 (curtailments): "St Paul's", even though the closest the route gets is the part of High Holborn around City Thameslink station, a 5 minute walk from St Paul's Cathedral.

Speaking of the 108 it can get confusing at the Lewisham end too. Blinds say Lewisham Shopping Centre, then the iBus says Lewisham Station, and then the TfL website says towards Lewisham Shopping Centre but the last stop is Lewisham Station

The 108s blind isn't Stratford, it's Stratford International. On some of the buses, it says Stratford instead of Stratford International. I use and see 108 pretty regularly and I'm pretty sure all the buses are blinded for Stratford International, but on event days the 108 is diverted to terminate at Stratford Bus Station instead and the blind for that is simply Stratford

One I have always said is misleading is the 155/171/363 "Elephant & Castle" destination when these routes carry on in service to the stand at St. George's Circus.
Another is the 8 to "Tottenham Court Road". It terminates at St. Giles Church and therefore does not directly serve TCR station nor the road of the same name!

I suspect a lot of people wouldn't know where St George's Circus is.

I agree and this goes for routes 1/N1, N68, N171, N242 and N253 and all those other night routes aswell. The only bus route that actually terminates and stands at TCR is the 176 or curtailed 29/73s. A qualifier for St Giles or Charing Cross Road may be useful on all the other routes

The 140, N140 and N18 display Harrow Weald bus garage as the terminus but they actually terminate at the Long Elms bus stop. The bus garage stop is the next stop after the bus garage

The 140, N140 and N18 display Harrow Weald bus garage as the terminus but they actually terminate at the Long Elms bus stop. The bus garage stop is the next stop after the bus garage Many years ago buses terminating at the garage stopped just inside the entrance to drop passengers off, but this practice ceased as it was deemed too dangerous and the last stop became (at the time) the "Red Lion". The Red Lion later became the Wealdstone Inn (although it isn't in Wealdstone!).

I remember in the 90s when the 140 was run by London United the drivers usually allowed me to stay on for the extra stop for me to get off at the bus garage stand which gave me a shorter walk home
