Any examples of where bus destination blinds that states where a route will terminate but actually does not go to the intended stop. One that comes to mind the one on the number 8 when one cut short at Smart Street but blinds say Roman Road/Grove Road, a bus stop actually located some distance across a canal and a busy junction.

Set Down in Roman Road, at Stop HC (18062 - Smart Street, last stop on LOR: 18092 - Smart Street).
However, Blind Display is correct showing as Roman Road, Grove Road. Because bus needs to turn around to get back toward Central London.

126 to Bromley South. It actually terminates at the stop before. The iBus destination was changed a few years ago to Bromley, Town Centre but the blinds are still wrong.
51 to St Mary Cray Station. It doesn’t go up to the station it terminates at Station Approach along Sevenoaks Way. So you have to walk up that big steep hill.

Additionally, you might be surprised at how many people refer to that whole part of Bromley High Street as ‘Bromley South’

Back in the RML days some conductors used to let you get off at the Grove Road stop before the roundabout, scary to think that was nearly 20 years ago since they last ran on the 8 seems like yesterday.

436 Battersea Park Station. It only stops at the station on its way to Lewisham.

53 to County Hall even though it terminates 1 stop earlier It has been changed now to Lambeth North, Lower Marsh but it is still intriguing how it uses the same stand as 381 and i believe 341 yet their blinds show Waterloo

Isn’t the ‘Elmstead Woods’ turning point on the 314 like a mile away in Coldharbour?

145 to Becontee Green Lane. The Becontee Martins Corner/ Bennetts Castle Lane curtailment point is nowhere near Green Lane

The Becontee Martins Corner/ Bennetts Castle Lane curtailment point is nowhere near Green Lane I wonder if this was a case of someone not paying attention one day and now it's stuck. The 62s Martins Corner turn got replaced with a Green Lane one a few years back and I wonder if someone just removed the Martins Corner blind as a result without realising the 145 still needed it.

Sounds like it. I might be wrong, think Martins Corner is still used as a turn for 62s coming down from Mark's Gate to then run out of service to Faircross and pick up time again.

Isn’t the ‘Elmstead Woods’ turning point on the 314 like a mile away in Coldharbour? Certainly a fair distance from the station - if you're coming from Eltham, last stop is on William Barefoot Drive: www.londonbuses.co.uk/route-records/314x3.pdf
