It is absolutely the right decision, she has abused her office. The Home Secretary does not have the authority to direct police operations and the public has a right to protest peacefully, a right the Met has upheld. They shouldn't be protesting on Armistace day which is the issue here. There is a few other things that she said that was wrong, she hardly even mentioned much about the armistice day.

They shouldn't be protesting on Armistace day which is the issue here. There is nothing in UK Law which says a protest cannot take place on Armistice Day. Police powers to ban protests are proscribed by the Public Order Act and can only be called upon if the police believes the protestors will not comply with their restrictions and there is a likelihood of serious public disorder. The last time this power was used was over a decade ago. The march was largely peaceful in nature and the organisers had already agreed the march would not pass the Cenotaph. In fact, most of the disorder on Saturday, judging by the arrests made, was caused by right wing extremists and it is hard not to conclude that they were emboldened by Braverman's incendiary words. I accept that you find the Pro-Palestine March taking place on Armistice Day to be disrespectful, it is a view you have every right to hold. However you cannot call for marches to be banned purely because you don't like them.

Sadly after the next election with the Tories in opposition, there will be a battle almighty for the heart and soul of the Conservative Party and she is very likely to be in the front line. The only hope is that she goes too far and ends up being expelled from the Party. Or her local constituency party de-selects her.

The only thing I will say is yes the marches are largely peaceful but they are getting progressively larger and larger and can be disruptive especially at the end of the marches when they seem to gather at mainline stations. Also the fact can’t be ignored there has been some awful behaviour from certain people on the march. I have also seen some films of large scale chanting on the Undergound which can be intimidating for people going about their daily life’s. I am going to be honest here and feel very uneasy to where all this is going as the protests are getting bigger each week. I feel we are almost on the verge of civil unrest. I really feel for the Jewish community in London who feel they can’t even going into central London at weekends.

There has been (and is still ongoing) a Cabinet Reshuffle, for what it is worth. The phrase that comes to mind includes the words deckchairs and Titanic.
Former Minister Esther McVey, backbench MP and part-time presenter on GB News, has been re-appointed to the Cabinet in a role not so far named, but said to be a "common sense tsar", whatever one of those might be. At least The Sun approves.

How can Cameron be in the cabinet when he’s not a MP or peer. He has been given the title Barony of the United Kingdom for life so is now Lord Cameron and can sit in the House of Lords. Subsequently also means he can be Foreign Secretary. Bet that’ll put Nadine Dorris’s nose out of joint.

Announcements heard on her rounder: The destination of this bus has changed please listen for further announcements.123 to…Rwanda. Please have your passports ready for inspection. If you see a homeless person in a tent make sure you report their lifestyle choice to police. See it, say it, sorted. Due to a hate march, this bus is currently on diversion please listen for further announcements. Please move down inside the boat. Seats are available on the upper deck.
