Notification of Tender Results, 3rd May 2024 HRH intends to enter into a new contract with the Party listed below: Contract > Current Operator > New Operator > Seats UK Government > Conservative > Labour > 390 Number of bids: two* Reason for award: Highest number of seats/votes; poor performance of current incumbent. * a number of smaller bids were also received but were discounted due to lack of fleet resources. I had a feeling they wouldn't hang onto the 390 All the best for the new operator when the contract starts. What vehicle type is on order for Islington Garage?

They still retain the SuperLie route (SL11) for the next few months, with existing policies

I think IN (Islington North) will continue with the existing incumbent but, as now, the service will remain Independent, it won't be part of the Labour service and Labour Party cards will not be issued or accepted.

Buses may not be delivered on time, so some Plaxton Palestines will transfer over from the Finsbury Park garage in the interim. They may be there for a while, heard a rumour that Islington hasn't made up their mind yet as to what type to side with.

I think Lord Cameron will head up the team, using bi-mode Class 232 (ex Piccadilly Line stock from Vivarail), but they've had issues fitting the pantograph as the trains are so small

Sunak Plc has failed to install sufficient chargers and Braverman & Co. Ltd were causing considerable interference until their network was isolated on Monday.

Ding dong the witch is gone Would that were true. Sadly after the next election with the Tories in opposition, there will be a battle almighty for the heart and soul of the Conservative Party and she is very likely to be in the front line. The only hope is that she goes too far and ends up being expelled from the Party. Or her local constituency party de-selects her. Plus, there may still be enough Tory MPs who find her too much of a loose cannon to vote for her among the top 2 to go forward to the membership vote.

He has been given the title Barony of the United Kingdom for life so is now Lord Cameron and can sit in the House of Lords. Subsequently also means he can be Foreign Secretary. Bet thatβll put Nadine Dorrisβs nose out of joint. She does seem to want to stay in the limelight. She appeared on Laura Kuenssberg's Sunday show on BBC1 as a commentator and was due on Good Morning Britain yesterday (although I didn't watch her interview there).

Day 2 on the route, and David's already not bothering to wear the uniform He's out of his bus and looking at that street furniture he clipped on his way to Ilford Though it's great to see (slightly) newer buses from the 307 finally on the 123 By standing in front of a bus heading for Bruce Grove, he hopes someone will say to him Nice to see you, to see you, Nice

I don't normally contribute to transport forums during the week.
I just felt like seeing you all on my birthday!
I shall be back with you on the transport threads on Saturday 25th after I say Yellow to the franchised bus network in Bolton.
Have fun in the meantime!
