capitalomnibus with the 34 now dead-running to St James Street, if Selborne Walk runs into chaos I.e traffic etc... is there a contingency plan to have the buses stand at Walthamstow Bus station since SL1 has taken it's place and also this is for anyone else on the forum I wonder where the SL2 will stand as space looks a bit tight in the bus station at the moment unless of course they make another slot.

Don't think 34 will be allowed to stand formally but they can just turn there if running late. The dead run time is accounted for in the timetable I believe and when at its worse you can get Selborne Rd done in 10 minutes. Something will happen I'm guessing. South Grove has stand space. Another route to dead run, maybe SL2 or 215.

Bus Stops in Bromley now have notices for Routes SL3 & SL5. I’m impressed at this organised effort from TfL. Early communication, simple and clear information with a route diagram. Hopefully this appears in the next few weeks across all SL3 and SL5 stops.

I agree. I think that is one of the clearest bus changes stop signs for a long time. Certainly clearer then those overcrowded maps for the 1/168/188 and 16/332.

I have to say, politics aside, and looking at the routes themselves, when the roads are quiet these Superloop routes are seriously impressive. First time on the new North London Superloop routes and I’ve just done Walthamstow Bus Station to Harrow Bus Station in under an hour an a half (changing from the SL1 to SL10 at Nortb Finchley). That is seriously good going

That is seriously good going I don't mean to sound negative but any route (Express and normal) on a Sunday morning will be quick. Where the express routes really need to work is during the peaks and this is where they will be let down as they will still hit congestion due to reduced road space and lack of bus lanes. Of all the routes I think the SL2 is going to suffer the most.
I am sure the routes will be around for sometime to come but think eventually they will just morph into being part of the standard bus route and not be seen as anything special much like the 607 before it was renumbered.

SL1 is a very fast and beneficial route but I'm a bit uncomfortable with SL1 stopping at Ravenside Trading Estate before it goes up to the flyover towards Silver Street Station because there could be an accident when SL1 tries to change lanes. But since SL1 is now existent, why can't TFL convert 34 bus into a 24 hour route and potentially extend it to Barnet Hospital?

I thought exactly that pulling out of that Ravenside stop, I was thinking how in earth is the driver gonna get out of that, we had to cut right across the slip road onto the A406. I also thought that was a bit of a dodgy stop and shouldn’t really have been put there

I’m under no illusion of how slow they probably are in the peak. But as I said at quieter times, potentially even on a weekday off peak times (not sure though as I’ve only done them today) they do cover some serious ground

Route N20 already serves Barnet Hospital during the night, one of the very few benefits brought onto the bus network as a result of Covid.

No, I don't think it's as severe in that heads will roll - I suspect someone, most likely a higher up, will be warned and that will be that. I still believe a higher up told one of the fitters to use an existing panel that was in storage in order to save costs on ordering a new one - that's the most logical explanation I can think of anyway. To be honest I would even be surprised if someone gets warned, it might actually just be a laugh in the office. That said I can't think of an existing panel that would have 'towards North Woolwich or Woolwich Ferry' on it. That might actually have been printed somewhere. I feel the one towards Barking or Ilford panel might have been pulled off a stop in the Faircross area when the EL2 was sent up there. The panel, if recycled, could have come from eastbound stops on Silvertown Way when the 474 was routed there prior to May 2022. I do remember this distinction and questioned why as the 474 served the area in its entirety.
