SL1 is a very fast and beneficial route but I'm a bit uncomfortable with SL1 stopping at Ravenside Trading Estate before it goes up to the flyover towards Silver Street Station because there could be an accident when SL1 tries to change lanes. But since SL1 is now existent, why can't TFL convert 34 bus into a 24 hour route and potentially extend it to Barnet Hospital? There is no room at Barnet Hospital for another terminating route - it can just about support the 263, 307 and the through journeys on the 384 eastbound. Also, as already mentioned, the N20 serves the hospital at night

Bus Stops in Bromley now have notices for Routes SL3 & SL5. Good to see that passenger information is getting better with every launch.

capitalomnibus with the 34 now dead-running to St James Street, if Selborne Walk runs into chaos I.e traffic etc... is there a contingency plan to have the buses stand at Walthamstow Bus station since SL1 has taken it's place and also this is for anyone else on the forum I wonder where the SL2 will stand as space looks a bit tight in the bus station at the moment unless of course they make another slot. The 34's if running late can still turn into the bus station at Walthamstow Central, however it is not to stand so would be a quick change of blinds then back out to Barnet. This has happened at times.

The N34 was never really that busy, apart from the first trips, like many of the weekend only night bus extra's

Are we certain on the 24th February start date? The linked Evening Standard article says April, what one is correct? Given the reliability of newspapers in general, I know which one I'd go with personally - can't see any reason to delay SL3 till April when all the rest have or will be implemented between November 23 (SL10 & SL1) & March 24 (SL2, SL3 & SL5)

Oh, and contracts with a commencement date have been signed.

Have the bus type for the SL2 been confirmed yet? (Might have missed that post)

Have the bus type for the SL2 been confirmed yet? (Might have missed that post) No, but considering the timeframe my guess would be either ex-133/333 HAs, or ex-34/242 HVs, whichever the W3 doesn't get?
