Looks like Heathrow Airport are splashing lots of cash over the summer to offer lots of improvements to bus services in the area: - Thames Valley Buses to operate a new demand responsive service called Go2Gate from 19th August, from Clewer and Dedworth to Heathrow Terminal 5.
- White Bus to extend Route 446 from Staines to Hatton Cross every hour via Ashford Hospital and Terminal 4 from 29th August.
- National Express to renumber the A40 to N40 and increase service to hourly during the night between Ealing Broadway and Heathrow via Uxbridge Road and Hayes & Harlington from 26th August.
- Reading Buses to operate a new route 730 from Heathrow Central to Frimley High Street (as registered with TfL) but expected to go further in reality from 24th July.
- First Slough to operate a new route RA3 from Watford Junction Station to Heathrow Central from 23rd July.
Expect some more will follow.

I think the last one (RA3) has appeared before ? Have no idea what the current A40 is ? No night link to Uxbridge (needed in my opinion) . Would also like the 203 increased in frequency - it’s rammed most of the time. I also think the 423 could run all night . Would only need around 4 more trips to make it so.

Route 730 confirmed hourly Heathrow to Frimley, with 2-hourly extensions as the Route 731 to Basingstoke. First journey to arrive at Terminal 5 before 0400 and depart at 0020 every day. To be part of the new Flightline branding soon to also feature on Route 703. - Diamond to operate new route H21 from Bedfont to Terminal 4 from 19th August, operating every 30 mins from 0300-0000 every day. All fares will be £1.
- First Railair, promising improved timetable on RA2 from 27th August, (details unknown at this stage).
- Additionally, First Railair RA1 will stop at Thames Valley P&R from 23rd July, with 2 additional early morning trips.

Some of these services have existed in the past.
There used to be a dedicated coach service between Watford Junction and Heathrow Airport for rail passengers. It was later withdrawn with rail passengers able to use tickets on Green Line 724/727 instead.
Alder Valley used to run a route between Heathrow Airport, Camberley and Basingstoke, numbered 200 or 201.
It's good to see though that Heathrow Airport is supporting bus service improvements again, it had virtually ceased during the pandemic. I wonder if the 459 will make a comeback?

The N30 looks like an intriguing route. It could be really useful to have a night bus to Heathrow, especially for days when the Night Tube isn't running. It needs to be publicised to succeed though, as I imagine most people round here won't know about it so will just get a taxi to Heathrow if they need to be there at an ungodly hour for a flight. Could have some success with shift workers though as there are no Heathrow flights between midnight and 5am. The route looks like its trying a bit too hard to slavishly follow the Piccadilly Line by going via Popes Lane and Swnycombe Avenue. I think it would be better for the route to begin at Acton, serve Ealing Broadway then go down Northfield Avenue - Northfields is only a short walk to South Ealing or Boston Manor so it would act as a hub stop. Then it would go down Swyncombe Avenue and Boston Manor Road to reach the A4.

Nice to see though. Although some employers still send employees cabs to get them to work at the airport in the small hours.

Further updates: -Route X442 will be revised to operate approx every 30 mins throughout the day, (currently one trip each way, but this returns pre-covid level of service) And is also extended to serve Staines Train and Bus Stations. -Route 442 will have some additional late trips extended to Englefield Green. -New Route A60 will operate three early morning trips from Sunnymeads to Terminal 5 and Central bus station. Running non stop between Wraysbury and Terminal 5. -First Slough promising further timetable improvements on Route 4.
And not previously mentioned in this thread, but the long awaited, frequency increase on the Route X26 (or whatever SL number it gets) to operate at least every 15 minutes all day, from first to last bus.

Are Heathrow funding the X26 increase? It does seem rather generous.
