I can only guess that it's H&S concerns for drivers, lack of toilets and no proper footpath? I spoke to one of TB’s garage supervisors today and he believes it’s resident concerns about fumes that is preventing buses using the Simpsons Road stand Then funny enough it should not be using Ringers Road either which is a residential street

But hey, wisdom goes out of the window Some drivers do have a habit of leaving engines running - particularly in the winter. So I can understand the concerns of the residents but as greenboy says; what will their excuse be when the buses are electric? And as I said to my GS; Bromley will need all the stand space it can get when the two SL routes get shoehorned in - resident concerns won’t matter!

Route 126 can be welcome to the bus stand in Bromley Common, The Crown where was old-ex 208 overlapping section & 261 used to terminate there. The flats are far away from the busy road but only a car park right next to it.

Yes I was thinking that stand could be used again to free up a space at Bromley North. 227 would probably be too frequent to extend but the 269 could go to the Crown.
