I thought I would really like it, but I don't. The wood effect floor with just a basic bus feels cheap. I worry this will devalue the overall spec of new buses. Do the lot, or none of it. Maybe I will change my mind when I'm see it for real.

I agree, I'm not sure the wood effect really adds anything to the new electrics, and for existing hybrids it seems a waste of money for refurbishments - when floor coverings are very rarely changed otherwise. Stagecoach added their red flooring on some of the ex-ELBG E200s and Scanias, but can't think of any other examples. I also think there should be more consistency across all TFL modes. Why add features like wood-effect flooring, high back leather seating, etc on buses, when no train services will have them? Particularly as passengers typically make longer journeys on trains than buses.

What route are these MMCs being refurbished for? Hardly surprising they have gone for Wooden Floor effect. That is so Transport UK to adapt anything new TFL try.

The spec of a train really depends on what it's being used for, and based on the regulations that cover trains. The flooring on the new DLR trains is really quite nice, and don't need high back seating because most journeys are pretty short and all the seats (part from the pair at the front) face inwards. With all tube/metro stock high back seating really wouldn't work with inward facing seats. Many longer distance trains have carpeted interiors and higher backed seating, and eve better seating in First Class.

Hopefully it can/will be modified in due course, something perhaps TfL can set standard displaying on Well whatever has been put into the Mobitec screens to make them have a standard TfL layout really needs putting into the Hanover screens too, donât know how this happens though or how the Mobitec screens manage the perfect layout every time Mobitec has access to the full set of individual layouts created for smart blinds by Doug Rose.

It's very foolish of TfL to only make the layout available to one company, especially if it's looking like Hanover is going to become the brand of choice for many operators.
