Precisely, all equally incompetent. There will be some improvement in some areas and equally drop in other areas. On a net basis nothing will improve … Anyone expecting any meaningful change when we go from blue to red is delusional It will be the same lies, same gaslighting, same everything just with less for the middle earner. Oh well, perhaps I’ll quit my job when Labour take power, no doubt they’ll be handing out benefits to everyone who asks.

I’m not totally convinced this forum will remain completely civil! No I don’t think it will either. Well, I’ve decided how to vote long ago, so I think I’ll leave people to it on this thread. Have fun (if ‘fun’ is the right word 😂)

Must remember to shut my Twitter down for a few weeks. This election will get extremely ugly on all sides. I’m not totally convinced this forum will remain completely civil! It is up to us - all of us - to keep it civil.

Hopefully my door bell will still work. RIP all those living in a key marginal seat. 😂

Parliament has been officially dissolved and a general election will be held on Independence Day, July 4th 2024. We have no Independence Day here, so entirely meaningless. But it could set a President.

Have fun (if ‘fun’ is the right word 😂) I also know how I will be voting, I will vote Lib Dem. It may not be what people expect, but it makes sense for me in my constituency. I don't care what people vote, but I do want people to vote, and to do so from an informed perspective.

Why stand in the rain, with “things will only get better” blasting out. It could not be a worse look, especially when Boris spent £££££££ on a press room that is dry and presumably sound proof.

Can't believe Rishi has handed in the route early unless he will re bid for it with existing promises Or Labour will win it with some old promises for a 3 year term like the 28 route. Jokes aside there is still alot to play for in this election in particular going from a hung parliament to a Labour majority. This is the real one now, not one for protest votes and people really will be out in force to vote (hopefully) as opposed to 36% in Blackpool South and 40% for the London mayoral election.

I’m not convinced they will be. I think we are at the peak of voter apathy and I think that will lead to a record low, maybe lower than 2001 which was less than 60%. I can see labour winning but I don’t think the majority will be as large as polls indicate. I think as eager as the public is for change people don’t resonate with Starmer and his policies.
