The 5pm speech was pretty awful! Couldn't someone of at least gave Rishi a umbrella or held one for him? The background music was very distracting and to be honest seeing a soaking wet Prime Minster walking back into Number 10 pretty much sums up the state of the government after 14 years in power.

Whatever our political beliefs, I really hope on this forum that we can keep it civil and cordial through our discussions in this General Election cycle. I think the campaigns from both major political parties will be ruthless as there's so much at stake in this election. Bring on 4th July.

My question is slightly bus related and that’s if Labour win a Majority if Sadiq asks them to give TfL some money do you think they will give TfL the money?

Labour will want their northern heartlands back so giving London preferential treatment with government funding probably won’t give a good image

I certainly think this is going to be a very ugly election campaign. It’s looking almost certain the Tories are going to get absolutely massacred though

It should also be noted but rarely does, that money raised on London’s roads, funds other parts of the countries.

Must remember to shut my Twitter down for a few weeks. This election will get extremely ugly on all sides. I’m not totally convinced this forum will remain completely civil! lol

Well, I’ve decided how to vote long ago, so I think I’ll leave people to it on this thread. Have fun (if ‘fun’ is the right word 😂) I also know how I will be voting, I will vote Lib Dem. It may not be what people expect, but it makes sense for me in my constituency. I don't care what people vote, but I do want people to vote, and to do so from an informed perspective. Now that is a shock from a Labour lover. Although I did say Lib Dems was a good party

I cannot wait to see the back of the Tories however stuck between the Greens (despite main policies) or the Workers Party to vote for.

I thought Rishi standing there soaking wet was quite bizarre, surely he must have a brolly? Brings a whole new meaning to the political term 'the wets'! I assume the background music was hecklers?

Can't believe Rishi has handed in the route early unless he will re bid for it with existing promises I couldn’t stop laughing at this. You are really the best person at making people laugh on here for your edits and funny posts. I will never forget the time you posted “Uncle Leon’s Boil in a Bus” that was too funny.

Sums up the Premiership very well. Didn't they spend thousands on a brand new sound proofed press room inside?
