SNP, 10, not sure the term for an opposite of a landslide for them. Reform on 13 though I'm still dubious till all the counting is done. The final exit poll is normally incredibly accurate. There may be a few seat difference but it will likely be correct. Personally I think the Tories have done better than expected. But it’s time for a bit of change, I don’t see much being different but I’m hugely pessimistic. The way politics goes these days it’ll all be over in 3 years. I know people on here hate them but I'm still glad to hopefully see atleast 131 Tory MPs to form some form of opposition. The 61 for Lib dems isn't quite as good as I had thought really. I was thinking 70+ this time.

Looks like my Labour seat prediction of West Croydon to Purley (that’s 412 if anyone’s wondering) wasn’t far off!!!🤣

BBC mentioned my area in North London going Lib Dem in their exit poll analysis.
Can’t be right as I got no leaflets nor door knocking by them. Plus local vote collapse in favour of Labour last loval elections. That saying will be the biggest shock out of everything even with an local bias, if this is indeed correct or close.

Good ol' Sunderland retaining their crown for the first constituency to declare! Labour has its first win of the night with Bridget Phillipson winning with almost 19,000 votes. Not too surprising some may say, but with the Reform candidate placing second with 11,600 votes would raise a few eyebrows. It's definitely going to be an interesting night of results as they filter through.

Having just seen Reform get nearly twice the amount of votes as the tories in the first two declarations is absolutely seismic I wonder if a lot of tories will now be feeling jittery even in their Tory safe seats if there are THAT many voters lurching further to the right I’m honestly gobsmacked

I voted this morning, the polling station was pretty quiet with more staff than voters and away from the polling station you wouldn't really know there was a general election happening today, very few posters in windows etc. I would imagine it's going to be a pretty low turn out probably exacerbated by the photo ID requirement. The recent local election with the extended ULEZ was busy, the polling station was dead. I thought I may have to queue again. Only 3 people, when I left all left, then just one person came in.

I did not think that much people would vote for them. They are predicting within the next few years the hard left and hard right would be the main parties of the country with centre ground shrinking.

Well after a long day, as we now will have a Labour govt, I really hope to see some improvement across transport services focusing on buses across London & the UK!

You definitely have a valid point there but the good thing looking at this change is that Khan now will not be able to blame the govt as he has done over the years...

It’ll be interesting to see how quickly he turns on Starmer when he says no to him. He was already all over BBC One giving it Starmers a grown up, he’s united us, blah blah blah.

Out of interest what time did you go to vote? 1pm Well of course it seems dead then, walked past my polling station at noon and it was empty but at 5/6pm when people got home from work there was a long queue
