Noticed on route 88 some of the YX13 regs EHs (EH21, cant remember the other) has an horrible engine grinding/rattle sound when accelerating/revving. Similar issue but less extreme in comparison to some crappy 61-Reg Enviro 400Hs at EW?
On an positive note that is off-topic, those E400Hs are some of the quietest hybrids I have come across and would give electric buses a run for their money in regards to engine noise. EH23 was really nice.

19795 sounds like it’s about to explode. Doing a good B7 with bad cooling fan impression.....

Perhaps it’s only a select few

The nice EH I was on makes me suspect so.

EH23 was really nice. I was on EH38 on the 88 this morning and heard exactly what you've described, at the rear on the nearside. I assumed it was caused by loose panels but I could be wrong. Other than that noise, the bus was fine. The MMCs are alot better though.

Yep, speed wise the seem ok(but could get worse later?), which was why I made the comparison to Metroline's 61 Regs. Those sounded worse as if someone undergoing an deep filling procedure at the dentist and awful acceleration.

Not sure what Metroline are doing to it’s TEH’s but I’ve not been impressed with them whenever I’ve rode them (not including the MMC batch which I’ve not used). They also seem to have issues with each batch although the TEH11* batch appears to be doing a lot better than previously in terms of staying on the road

They also seem to have issues with each batch although the TEH11* batch appears to be doing a lot better than previously in terms of staying on the road The TEH11* (LK60) batch do seem an lot nicer in comparison and accelerate far better from what I rode on, but not all brilliant either due to knackered batteries and already looks worn out even for 10 years (AC's VPs looked far better at 14 years in comparison). Either have aged badly or Metroline just riding them out till early retirement. Haven't been on the MMC batch much since covid, but not hearing great things about them either.
Outside LK60s TEHs I encountered and 3-4 LK61 TEHs, they're some of the shoddiest buses I have come across for sure, with TEH1236 as strong contender for THE worst bus I have rode on.
Wouldn't be even be surprised if the LK61 batch got an early retirement in few years, lots of VORs even on route 240 and some that look 15 years old at just 10 (i.e. slow and worn out).

DW402’s “second set of door sound” ( I don’t know the professional term for it) sounds ok after one stop but massively broken the next.

Apparently TEH1237 is the latest batch of LK61 TEHs at EW to also suffer from yet another VOR.I am guessing some engine failure. Funny coincidence, discussing those terrible buses on this thread couple days ago. It was also one of 3-4 LK61 TEHs I liked, and I had actually rode that on 113 3 weeks ago. Was even like an rocket.

WS88 was making a nasty engine noise when I saw it in Wandsworth yesterday, it's still out today so clearly the problem wasn't serious but surely the driver must have been aware?

First time using the 315 in over 2 years, the E200's look nice but 8123 is useless up hills

T144 got towed away from Norwood Garage on Tuesday Apologies for the compressed image View AttachmentI assume it was being taken somewhere else for repair, as it would surely be driven back to TH if fixed.

DW531 or 568 (forgot to note down the fleetnumber but it's one of them that are currently at TPL bus station right now according to LVF) has its bell keep on ringing when I rode it from Southbury to Bowes Park/Arcadian Gardens. And no it wasn't some idiot kids trying to be funny
