When a bus gets a curtailment en route, the announcement says "the destination of this bus has changed, please listen for further announcements"
The 391 I was on today did that, changed to fulham broadway. But the ibus didn't reset. For the rest of the journey it just showed up the bus stop names, not the route number or destination . Is this correct ?

How odd.

It seems to me that the iBus was logged off at some point between you checking and the bus arriving, since it was displayed at first and then disappeared on Countdown before arriving at your stop. I'm not entirely certain of the vaguaries of the iBus system but on the 269s in particular, the system will often go into 'Fallback' mode. Whether or not this takes the bus off the Countdown system, I don't know, but it could be one explanation for buses randomly disappearing and reappearing on Countdown If your iBus goes into "FALLBACK" mode then yes you do disappear from the system, You don't show up on the controller screens and you also disappear from the countdown system/screens. There is a stop on the 126 route that has a countdown screen but all the buses go into fallback mode at this stop (not related but a coincidence) for some reason no matter which vehicle I'm driving it always does it at this stop. I've also noticed that you are missing from the countdown screen. Where as you would usually show as "Due" for a few seconds when you stop there all it shows is the next 261 or 126 as being 10 minutes (ish) away as the first bus on the list. Also on this thread we talked about logging iBus off while running light and we drivers wern't sure weather we should or not... (I can't be arsed to look back through and quote things) There is a TfL staff notice gone up at DT this week telling us we should log iBus OFF at all times when running light or generally not in service

Problem is there are a few drivers (at my garage at least) who don't seem to know HOW to log the MDT's off.

Video's of the "Alight here for Northern Line" and "Bakerloo Line" announcements:
Elephant & Castle/ Newington Casueway For Bakerloo Line:
I still think they need to add in the word "the": "alight here for 'THE' Northern Line".

I still think they need to add in the word "the": "alight here for 'THE' Northern Line". Or alternatively the word "services" at the end of it, i.e.: "alight here for Northern line services."

Hi,
Noticed today that WH blinds show Canning Town Barking Road (For 241 /541) but IBUS on the 541 is Canning Town Hermit Road.
These are new blinds so not sure why they don't match ;D

Just on a 370 and this is probably old news but I'm glad to see they've had the "Bus. On. Diversion. After. This. Stop" announcement re-done. Bus approached the stop before the drill roundabout and nicely announced "this bus is on diversion after this stop"
