I wonder if the 70 and 440 will ever be restored to go via and to Chiswick Business Park. What with the pandemic.

The 440 is currently on a diversion but its between Acton and Bollo Lane with buses being diverted via Gunnersbury Lane and Bollo Lane instead of the usual routing.

I saw a 440 head into Chiswick Business Park this evening though? When were the 440 restored to Chiswick Business Centre? According to a footnote on the timetable at londonbusroutes.net the route was "diverted away from Chiswick Business Park between 24/03/20 and 02/08/20 inclusive".

Does anyone know why the 607 still has the Acton, Tram Depot blind on!? Today was a shambles on the 607 and it was terminating at Acton Vale. I thought that was gone ages ago

Well the driver was from the WestBus group and I don't think he knew that he needed to put the Acton Vale blind. Another 607 was behind him and he asked for assistance in how to turn around. I was very surprised to see this as I don't think I have never seen this before, even during the days of First Centrewest/early Metroline

I here from Facebook that the U3 and U7 has been permanently double decked is that true? What group was this mentioned? The U3 certainly deserves one.

I here from Facebook that the U3 and U7 has been permanently double decked is that true? I don’t think so on the U3, it is only because the intended 306 buses have come to Metroline early and work the U4, with the U4’s buses working the U3 for the school extras. When the 306 comes, this will no longer happen unless Metroline source some spares. Same goes for the U7, I believe theyre spares but the buses used on the U7 (DD) are used for Rail Replacement on the weekend so its double deck buses only run during the weekdays, might also stop. Who knows?

Who knows? That's not entirely correct regarding both route: The U3 has more deckers than normal because a number of DE's have transferred out to other garages as extras. And for the U7, it's still double decker most weekends - in fact, I think only one weekend were it's deckers required elsewhere and it used single door MMC's instead.

Question? I hear that when two routes are to merge that the frequencies have to be the same. If two routes have to be merged do all the frequencies have to match? Like example can two routes with the same daytime frequency but the evening and sunday frequencies are different.
