then what's a full express route? You are asking a question there is not hard and fast answer for as there is no official definition. Different people will have different interpretations of what these types of route are. There are no wrong and no right answers. Use a definition that seems logical to you. Good point, as you say different interpretations. Recently I travelled Glasgow Airport - Buchanan Bus Station on First's route 500 "Glasgow Airport Express". Ok, it's marketed as an 'Express' but forget the branding for a minute; for me the key differentiator is that the routing is direct from the airport to the city intentionally using a road (M8) with no bus stops for speed of journey so therefore it's an EXPRESSMy interpretation is that the 607, X26, X140 is that they are all LIMITED-STOPBut each to their own!

For me, the Glasgow First 500 would be counted as some sort of shuttle - especially as it takes you from (what seems to be, not familiar with places outside of London too much) a main location in Glasgow to the airport, but as you said, each to their own. I don't think there are any real London comparisons to what an express route is - the X26 being the closest thing for me.

For me the Glasgow First 500 is an Express as after a blast along the M8 it serves FIVE stops: 1) Bothwell Street 2) Bothwell Street at Hope Street (Central Station) 3) George Square at Queen Street Station 4) North Hanover Street 5) Buchanan Bus Station PAX will use this Express Service for a whole variety of reasons - some staying in Glasgow, some moving on to other Scottish destinations by either train, coach or bus If you consider the BL1 Bedfont Lakes service it is for me a 'SHUTTLE' as it serves only two places (Bedfont Lakes & Feltham Station) with no stops and has one specific purpose - to provide Bedfont Lakes based staff with viable means of travelling to/from their office via public transport (in this case rail and may be a little bit of feed onto buses). But as I said, each to their own!

Are there any bus vehicles in TFL which do *not* have regenarative braking?

Um I need a point of view. If you was put Volvo BZL / MCV on a information platform like a wikia would you add dd and sd to avoid confusion to show difference between a single decker Volvo BZL / MCV and a double decker Volvo BZL / MCV? Would most people know what SD and DD stands for? Like example if the D7 was getting Volvo BZL / MCVs and the 276 was also getting Volvo BZL / MCV would it be better that Volvo BZL SD / MCV for 276 and Volvo BZL DD / MCV for the D7. If I add dd or SD to Volvo BZL / MCV would it avoid confusion to people? I hope what I’m asking is clear.

First time I rode a B5TL on the 119 tonight. Quite impressed with the bus itself. Do we have any other ones in London apart from in the Croydon area?
I am struggling to understand the difference between it and the B9TL. They are both Diesel.

None other on TfL services but Falcon do operate a 71reg MCV eVoSeti B5TL on school journeys, but not sure if it enters London. Alternatively, the two B5TLs at C are slightly different iirc, so you could try to get the other one on the 355 or X26 if you want to get it in a different area, but they're pretty uncommon on the 355 and not even sure if they've been on the X26.

Volvo switched to a smaller engine with the move to EuroVI.

The 127 is the most likely to be using either, 509 hasn’t strayed off in a month!

So does the X239 has a date when it will commence operation? How can it? The tunnel is not finished yet! They have only just finished the southbound core and now will start the northbound one.

So does the X239 has a date when it will commence operation? Silvertown tunnel is planned to open in 2025 so will have to wait until then
