Was obviously having it's gaffer tape applied yesterday seeing as it is now a DX vehicle. Talking of there transfers there was a photo in the Londoner FB suggesting these buses don’t have smart blinds installed. The bus was displaying Arriva and 368 so not sure how DX managed to fit standard blinds and managed to display the number if not smart blinds? So far these have just appeared on the 368. It might just be an old number blind being cut up and fixed statically in place. Would also explain why there is no destination blind. If these buses appear on any route other than 368, my theory gets shot to pieces.

The bus was displaying Arriva and 368 so not sure how DX managed to fit standard blinds and managed to display the number if not smart blinds? Standard blinds cannot be installed because they are not built for that purpose, smart blinds I think are made of polymer. Overall it can take up to 20 minutes just to change a single roller in a smart blind, goodness knows how long it would take to fit a manual set! I’ve seen a smart blind roller fitted to manual blinds boxes before they are certainly not suitable. I have also seen McKenna brothers fitting blinds in the past and they do it very fast, probably because they are used to it. I even spoke to the person doing it told me they have to be installed delicately otherwise the blind can get twisted and possibly rip. ENX23 once had a Smart blind destination set fitted was difficult to turn. I put a complaint into management and it was replaced with a proper blind within a week. T55 at first the front blinds were fitted with an old 2018 set of smart blinds after a few weeks it was replaced with a normal blind set. You can fit the standard blind up front in a powerblind bus, but there would be no way of changing it. I believe they just removed the power connectors from blind box so no one moves it. Then press the manual scroll lever in the front destination and set it to Arriva, then placed a non powerblind in front route number box; very easy to do. Manual set blinds are a bit easier to do as it does not involve the stupid process or going through the destinations to make sure the wrong code is not matched up, to the cab control unit. I have managed under 10 minutes changing one powerblind bus.

The second of the 8 batch to move to T recently- a number of the 55 batch are off road at the moment. But rather interesting that it seems like they're just picking random LTs from BW to transfer, rather than sticking with those from the lower/higher end of fleet numbers in the batch.

Probably just loans as YX10FFN mentions some of the 55 batch are off the road. Also could be covering for refurbs.

8207 QB > BC Wonder if the S4’s buses are going to start heading off for refurb soon considering the 367’s buses are now done and there’s enough buses to cover them in the ex P13 E200’s?

ADE40310 has reappeared at AV . Saw it in the 635 last night. These examples do come up well after refurb.
